No serious flaws. It needs to be polished. You can see in the photo where I started but was not getting a mirror finish. This model has a transformer as part of the cord. This lamps transformer is metal and may not be original. I don't know. Works fine. They make L.E.D. bulbs for these and you can get the regular florescent at home supply stores. I may decide to unbolt the base before shipping to flatten things out, it's just one bolt.

Up for sale is this original German 1970s glass& metal ceiling lamp ~ sconce. Made by Peill& Putzler. It is the medium version. I n USA distributed by Koch& Lowy. The lampshade is made of smokey brown transparent glass cast with a wavy shape at the bottom and embellished with deep grooves. The bulb is encased in a gold metallic cylinder placed inside the lampshade. The original Peil& Putzler label is still present. The lamp works with a standard E27 Edision bulb on 220V as well as 100 V. There is one bulb inside the lampshade. Delivery without bulb The lamp is in excellent condition and in full working order. Overall the condition is very good to excellent with some very minor wear as seen in pictures. Including a couple of very minor scratches on the lamp pole just above the ring you tighten to hold the position. Very small spot of missing brass plate on the base and light wear to the hand tight portion of the pole. There is also light twisting of the original wiring but nothing major. That is expected with these great lamps. I think removing the white plastic piece at the base would help as it holds the wiring and wont let it spin. This is a great architectural Koch Lowy brass plated floor lamp that we imagine is from the 70's. It has a built in dimmer switch. A glass difuser at the top, it adjusts from a height of approximately 36" to 44" the top section swivels 360 degrees and the shade moves up and down. The lamp works great and is marked Koch Lowy OM. This would be a perfect task or reading light. There is some surface scratching, nicks, wear, tarnishing and we have not cleaned or polished it. For sale is a nice quality vintage Cedric Hartman style floor lamp. This piece is in great shape and is adjustable in height/ lamp positioning. Lamp stands 51" tall in its tallest position. And 41" tall in the lowest. Lamp neck rotates 360 degrees. Lamp measures 16" from the pole to the front of the heavy weighted steel base, and measures 15" from the pole to the front of the brushed steel shade. Vintage Koch& Lowy OMI Mid Century Brass Pharmacy Floor Lamp Good all original vintage condition. Brass does have some tarnish& pitting here and there. Also some typical surface scratches in the lacquer finish. Dimmer socket working and wiring is good. Clutch on pole is good and lamp adjusts just fine. Some bending& denting on the back side of shade where it attaches to lamp. Most likely from being adjusted. Good solid lamp with normal wear and tear due to age. Circa 1960's Made in the USA Marked Koch& Lowy and OMI on swivel. Has unusual handled removable shade. Use a 60 watt bulb. Lamp is adjustable from 35" to 47" high.
