Jere" and have the"copyright" symbol handwritten in front. One is dated 1985. The other one, the"5" must have been rubbed off, it just says"198" They are each 17.5" wide and 8 1/4" deep in the center. They have a tiered look to them, but only one surface for setting things on. They each are accented with a silver metal band There is some wear to the surface at the top, see the pictures and use the closeup feature. On the underside that can't be seen unless you turn the shelves over, there is some surface rust. All in all, an awesome set, and I believe they are kind of rare, have not seen any others like them!

Here is a truly hard to find Curtis Jere Cheese Grater Pendant/Hanging Light Fixture made of copper and takes one regular bulb. Signed and dated 1980. About 20 inches tall. 12 inches wide and 8 inches deep. Has about 10 feet of hanging chain and cord with an old Leviton Rocker switch. Works great but since the wiring appears to be original to the piece it should be checked out for safety. There is tarnishing and spotting, some areas are larger than others, see the pics. Needs to be polished and cleaned. These do not come up very often and when they are very high priced in the Mid-Century Specialist shops. Will be shipped well padded for safety.

Beautiful condition! This is a signed and dated Curtis Jere birds in flight sculpture. Curtis Jere was a compound non-de-plume for a design group formed by Jerry Fels and Curtis Freiler for their company Artisian House. This is large.45" long x 20" wide and stands off the wall about 5.5" It is made of solid brass. The wonderful birds made of a thick mill brass with a wing span of 26" each! WOW!The beaks have a lovely matte brown patina which makes for a wonderful contrast to the mirror like brass. The design very beautiful and tranquil.it's sunrise and three lovely birds fly in unison across the morning sky! Up for Auction is a Fabulous Bronze Copper Metal Sculpture. This is 42" across at its widest point and is 22" long. Signed on the wing C.Jere. I do not know the exact date. I do know the Gentlemen I purchased this from said this was in his Bosses office from day he started work. He is in his late 70's. When he retired this went with him and he has hung it up in his Home till now. As you can see this does have a normal amount of Patina to the finish. It looks like right above the signature there is just one wing, possibly a bird must have broken off. Also in one of the real close-ups on the back I pointed out a spot where it looks like an extra drop of solder is there. Not sure if one of the birds was originally attached there. Up for auction is a rare 1972 signed Curtis Jere chrome lamp. I have only seen one of similar design. It was on 1stDibs and differed from this one as it was fitted to hold a metal lamp shade. There is no sign that this lamp ever had a shade with it. The chrome is in excellent condition. The lamp could probably use a dusting but is in great shape. It has been with one owner since the early 1970's. It is fully functional, both lights work inside but I didn't have a 2nd bulb to put in it. Total height is 34" the base is 10" wide. It is signed"C. This is a beautiful and original, 20th century metal sculpture that can hang horizontally or vertically on the wall in your home or office. Never fails to get multiple looks. It appears to be a strong metal like steel. But not sure. The piece is an original art made by the famous Curtis Jere and is signed and dated in white ink(1994) Curtis Jere is a famous mid century metal artist who has made countless 20th century sculptures with an abstract, modern and sometimes brutalist era design. His pieces grow more beautiful and interesting with time. A limited number of these were produced and although same design, they all vary a little bit. This one measures approximately 44 inches X 26 inches X 5 inches thick. It weighs between 18 and 20lbs and has 4 very strong steel ... morering hooks that will allow it to be hung horizontally, vertically or at an angle. It has 3 basic design elements, the larger chevron pieces with a darker rustic/purplish patina color, the smaller chevron pieces that look like they have a greenish/weathered copper patina like color, and a brass cross element in the background. This is an Absolutely Incredible Wire Sculpture and Functional Art Piece for the Dining Room or even in the Office as a Desk Station The workmanship on this is fabulous There is a total of 216 bent metal wires that have a really nice clean spot weld throughout On each of the area's where rods meet on the bend it has been spot sprayed with flat black giving a nice depth effect Possibly one of kind? I do consider this a Rare Jere Piece and was unable to find any sculptured dining table such as this other than the Cylinder base table's The closest in style would be Jere's Crane Lamp Notable flaw I came across- was on one corner of the table- a chrome wire is separated from the weld it still holds as if it is connected(shown in 3rd where I'm holding it away& 4th to last photo on it's own) I will be able to have this spot ... morewelded before you receive! Table without glass measures: 29 3/4" in height Top- 32 3/4" x 66 1/2" Bottom-36 3/4" x 60 3/4" 2 3/8" wide Legs are 2" in diameter Depending upon the chairs that will be chosen for this table it could seat up to 6 Space in-between legs 36 1/2" x 26 1/4" The legs are removable- I would have a set of chrome legs made for the size of a coffee table and use this as an option This does include the glass table top I do not know if this is the original top Measures- 74 1/2" x 44 1/2" x 3/8" This glass top does have visible scratches on the top and also around the edge- there is a fracture on the edge(shown in last photo) This glass top is optional.
