The condition is mint minus a n area of partial hai rlines cracks from production(see picture 5) Thes e hair lines do not go through to the glaze and the pot rings completely solid. Teak Wood Martz Lamp Finial, Marshall Studios, Danish Modern
This is a solid teak wood reproduction finial for the Martz and Marshall Studio lamps. Handcrafted in Ohio. The overall measurements are approximately 43mm in diameter and 31mm in height. The color may not be 100% accurate since teak wood can age differently along with the grain and different batches of wood. The last three photographs show the reproduction next to an original which is on the left. Since this is the only original that I have owned and seen personally I assume other originals could vary in color depending on their age etc. Martz finials were also made of walnut. Mid Century Modern Martz Marshall Studios Pottery Ceramic Gray Table Lamp Danish
Early 1960's Marshall Studios stoneware lamp. Designed by Jane and Gordon Martz. This is a classic Martz lamp, clearly influenced by Danish design- and produced in many colors. This one has light gray matte glaze and is in excellent working condition. No cracks, chips, or crazing. The cord is 9' long. This style lamp was sold without a harp, and was intended to be used with a clip fitter shade. Of course you can always add a harp to the lamp, or a clip to your shade to make it work. Size: 11.5" high(to the top of the socket) and a 6" diameter base.

Greg Copeland Studios Mid Century Modern Wall Art (#1567) --1977
Up for auction is a very nice vintage piece of Mid Century Modern/OP wall art from Greg Copeland Studios. This piece is numbered#1567 and still has the labels from the Greg Copeland Studio on the back. There is an artist signature on the lower right front but it is very difficult to read although I have seen the same signature on a few other studio pieces. The piece has a gold metallic frame with glass front and has geometric patterns with strips or small sheets of metal which appear to be copper and other materials incorporated into the piece. There are a couple areas where the metal has some spotting on it but overall the condition is excellent. The picture itself weighs approximately 25 pounds and measures 32-1/4" L x 32-1/4" W x 1" D. This is a fantastic signed Martz Sgraffito lamp from Marshall Studios as seen on page 38 of the original Marshall Studios catalog: http:marshallstudios.net/MS/catalogs_files/ms-cat17-op.pdf Lamp measures a large 35" tall to top of harp or 21.5" tall to top of teak wood portion. Maple Bowl, American Mid-Century Modern, Margaret Studios, 1940-50’s
Hand turned maple hardwood bowl made by Margaret Studios. Inc. of Antigo, Wisconsin, 1946 to 1958. This 11” wide by 3½” tall bowl boasts simple lines, a low mid-century modern design, a beautiful grain pattern, and a warm glowing finish. The bottom is marked#114 and Margaret Studios in the artist’s palette logo. The bowl is used and has light wear. The following historical information about Margaret Studios was published in the Langlade County[WI] Historical Society Newsletter(Spring 2012) Margaret Studios: A Folk Art Tradition Made in Antigo and Known World-wide On July 31, 1946, the Antigo Daily Journal published an article entitled“New Antigo Industry Makes Hand Made Wooden Bowls. Margaret Voigt was born in 1913 in Oostburg, WI. In 1934 she married Clarence Schroeder and, during the war, she began her career decorating butter tubs. ... moreIn 1946 Margaret and Clarence set up shop in Antigo. They hired local people and purchased maple wood from the Menominee Indians in Keshena and walnut in Tigerton. Items were hand turned and decorated free hand. What had begun as a hobby in her home in 1940 became a business that sold its product to Marshall Field’s in Chicago and around the world. In the late 1950s the business moved to North Carolina.

Very nice Mid Century Modern Wood Bookends by Margaret Studios Inc. Antigo Wisconsin. They are Approx. 5 1/5" x 6" x 4" Each. I don't know what kind of wood this is but the finish is very nice and they are very well made with mortise and tenon construction. They do have a few scuffs and 1 is missing a foot pad but still stands evenly. I will be away from October 10 to October 20. Any listings sold during this time will not ship until October 20.
