There three noticeable scratches on the top that I show in the photos. There is also a scratch on the front top ridge you will see in the photos. Otherwise light wear around the bottom of legs and inconspicuous wear to be expected with its age. The buffet looks great and from two feet the only damage that draws the eye is the scratch in front. Secondly the damaged area on the top left if you are looking it over. The scratches need inspection to notice, they blend in well. 52 1/2" wide or long. 19" deep. 31" tall. A massive sectional. 100% authentic original condition and yet not a single blemish, not a single spot of wear, piling or compression. Extraordinary. Super comfortable. modern line and styling and the construction is second to none. Foam in cushions is in like new condition. Massive. Produced by Broyhill(labelled by Lenoir- the same company as Broyhill) Three sections. With each one having two large cushions with 2 back cushions and a slightly smaller side cushion. 15 cushions in all. Still has its original side arm protectors(all three) that blend almost invisibly on this piece. Each section is 62" long. 26" high(with cushions making it 29" high) 36" deep. Highest quality construction. When combined the measure on the"short" side is 8 feet. And ... more10' 4" on the longer side. No movement, rock solid and well made, upholstered everywhere. Cushions are 7" thick and compress to 3.4" when you sit in them. Luxurious low seating or to stretch out on. Up for consideration is a Mid Century Modern Broyhill Premier Bedroom set. The set consists of Head board footboard and rails. Nightstand, Gentleman's or Bachelors Chest and long chest with mirror. The measurements are may be off by an inch or two but here goes. The long dresser/ credenza is 31 inches high by 19 inches deep by 56 1/2 inches long. The mirror attaches to the back with two adjustable bars. The mirror itself is about 29 by 41 inches. The mirror has a few molded stars in the glass that resemble the stars on the rest of the set. Gentlemens Chest is 38 1/2 inches wide by 19 1/4 inches deep by 47 1/2 inches high. The small nightstand has some dust on top so it looks a little stained as such when in reality it is not like that. Some if not all of these things will become less noticeable if not completely disappear with some conditioning. Hardware shows charter and age. Overall this is a beautiful piece that's going to look gorgeous in some lucky buyer's home. What a great find. This is a pretty neat mid-century room divider. Unlike most hutches. This two-piece divider is finished on both sides so it can sit in the middle of a room instead of against a wall. The top features a two door cabinet surrounded by cubby holes with three slender drawers along the bottom. The base features three center drawers with a cabinet on either side. Gorgeous Broyhill Sculptra credenza. These were made in the late 50s to early 60s. Hard to find these days and highly collectible. Solid walnut. Sculptra label still in place. Dovetailed drawers. 37" BROYHILL BRASILIA MID-CENTURY MODERN CREDENZA BUFFET/HUTCH/CHINA CABINET
This IS one of the most desired pieces of mid-century modern designs that is very HOT right now. Broyhill is the furniture maker and it is called the Brasilia line. The Brasilia line was first featured at the Seattle World's Fair in 1962. The lines and waves of Brasilia furniture were inspired by the distinct architecture of the City of Brasilia which is the Capital of Brazil and feature clean lines and simple. Modern design. Great for a small kitchen. Dining room, or apartment. Two separate pieces. Top piece is the china cabinet with two drawers underneath(one for silverware with dividers that can be taken out) Bottom piece is a little deeper and has cabinet doors. The shelves have plate holder indents so that you can display your china in the back of the cabinet. We inherited too much mid-century modern furniture as we got my parents' ... morefurniture AND they had my grandparents' Danish modern, Scandinavian furniture. This china cabinet is in GREAT condition considering it is over 50 years old with original solid brass hardware, glass, and lined silverware drawers. Measurements: Total height is 70 3/4" Top half with 2 drawers is 37" wide x 12 3/4" deep x 44 3/4 tall. Bottom cabinet is 37" wide x 17" deep x 26" high. GUESSING HIGH ON THE WEIGHT OF 150 LBS. I took as many pictures as possible(after I oiled the wood) and also took pictures of some minor concerns with the cabinet as I do not want someone driving a long distance and not knowing about them ahead of time. The top of the bottom cabinet has been scratched from someone sliding the top cabinet. Not deep though and you have to look closely to see them. Looking at the cabinet. There is a piece of laminate 1/2" x 1/2" that is chipped at the bottom left hand side on the front(same pic with the scratched top) and on the right back side, there is a chip about 1/2" out of the wood that can easily be filled in with filler. One pair of Broyhill Brasilia nightstands in good condition. Overall they are nice looking with only a few issues: one area on top of one of the cabinets has a worn area in the finish. One of the front legs has some discoloring, the inside of one has contact paper applied to the bottom and the other has a strange dark mark.
