VINTAGE GOTHIC DESIGN METAL WALL REGISTER GRATE
This auction is for a vintage metal wall heat register grate. This grate has a fantastic gothic design and are made of a heavy metal but not cast iron. It measures 14 1/4" wide x 12 5/8" high x 5 1/4" deep at the bottom and 1 1/2" deep at the top. It has a thumb style lever for adjusting the heat vent. This grate is in very good condition with no dents or other damage to the grate itself and it still has the original mounting screws. It originally had a bronze or copper colored finish which you can still see but it has been painted at some point and for the most part the paint has been removed. There is some surface oxidation but nothing that can't be cleaned off. A wonderful vintage gothic wall grate for your restoration project! Lot of (4) Antique 8 x 10 Cast Iron Floor Registers- Heat Vent Grates w/ Louvers
Up for sale is a lot of(4) vintage cast iron 8 x 10 floor registers/ furnace vents/ heat grates. The have a raised top which measures 11 3/4" x 9 3/4" and a louvered bottom which measures 9 3/4" x 8" They are 1 3/4" thick and are designed to fit into an 8 x 10 hole. All(4) mechanical tin louvers work smoothly on all(4) registers. These registers are old and have some surface rust on the textured borders and louvers. There is some wear to the original black paint. There are no cracks in the iron and I have done no restorations. They are very easy to clean up and repaint. Please check my feedback!

This is a vintage large round cast iron outer register/vent grate. It originally has an insert in the middle that I do not have. It measures 15 3/4" across. The top band has a textured basket weave pattern and the inner band has pierced curved spokes. The black finish has and is flaking off and there is some surface rust in places that could easily be removed. I cannot find a makers mark on this piece. This great old piece has a lot of potential for any repurposing project you can think of. It is not from a pet/smoke free home.
