Complete and very heavy. There is a minor crack in the frame on one side that could easily be repaired or used'as is' There is original paint missing and a small amount of rust that does not interfere with the function. Set of two matching antique cast iron heat registers. The face plate measures 13 5/8" x 9 3/4" The air duct opening is 12" by just under 8" at the base closest to the front. They slant slightly in and at the end and measure 11 1/2" x 7 1/2" They are approximately 2 inches deep. As you can see these do have a few layers of paint on them but it chips off relatively easily. These are used and do you show some signs of age and wear. They have some surface rust in spots. Particularly the louvres. Both still have the louvres and they function. This reproduction iron floor grate was purchased for my circa 1955 home but I didn't quite measure my floor opening correctly so it wouldn't fit. Too late to return it. I am selling for a bargain price. It measures 13 in long and 5 1/2 in wide. Fits inside opening 11 3/8 inches long.

Rectangular, Cast Iron, Heating Grate, Register 13 1/2 by 11 1/2 inch Plate with Filigree Design Raised 1 inch above Floor Pan Box fits Down into a 12 by 10 inch Hole 5 Louvers that Open or Shut by the Slide in the Floor Plate This antique floor grate has been well taken care of and has no rust. It has been painted many tines over the years with black paint. There are some drops of odd paint that I've shown in the photos. I found no makers mark. But each of the 5 louvers are marked PAT'D JUNE 26, 1894 on the top of the louver slats. This circa 1900 heating register is complete with a slide control for the 5 louvers located on the top of the floor plate, that works, open or shut, easily. The face plate measures 9 5/8" x 13 5/8" The air duct opening is 7 1/2" x 11 1/2" All the paint layers were stripped and it was washed with water to prepare it for paint or clear coat finish. It is raw cast iron. Buy it in this condition and save your self painting costs and put on your own favorite color. There are no cracks in the casting. I make sure the screws are loose and removable if you want to open it to paint.
