For sale is a really nice antique vintage floor grate. Cast iron with a beautiful crosshatch design on the front which to me looks arts and crafts style. There are no mounting holes.The size is 13" by 15" tall and the size is 14 by 12" if using as a floor grate.There is about a 1/4" lip on the inside. This is a nice piece for use or display or in the garden. I use these on my fence to hold up vines. They weather beautifully with a nice rusty finish. Very cool antique LENNOX cast iron furnace draft control mechanism, Marshalltown
Here's a very cool old Lennox cast iron wall mounted draft control for a furnace. Beautifully crafted and embossed. This unit apparently operated the draft control via chains attached to the levers which are pushed up and down to the desired setting. These are rather hard to find and very cool to display or use in a vintage home. Very nice condition with no cracks or breaks, just a little bit of surface rust. Here is an interesting old control for an antique wood/coal furnace. It was wall mounted upstairs above the furnace and by turning the handle. You controlled how far open the vents were on the furnace. It is marked hot on one side and cold on the other. Made of cast iron which is in very good shape with no chips or cracks. Comes with its original chain which is rusty but not rotted. Measures 4 1/4" across and the mounting holes are 4 5/8" wide.
