The inside part which fits into your floor is 10 by 12 inches and they are old original ones and the louvers work real well on one and the other does open and close but it could use a cleaning to get it working a little better. This salvaged cast iron grate is in as found condition and recently removed from a New England estate. The louvers easily function and adjust. Overall. The top has the original gray paint and some surface rust. Underneath has more significant rust, but is structurally sound and could be cleaned. Please see all photos for exact condition.
