The inside part which fits into your floor is 10 by 12 inches and they are old original ones and the louvers work real well on one and the other does open and close but it could use a cleaning to get it working a little better. Old Round Ornate Floor Register 9 1/4 Inches Across Heavy Metal
Here is an old heavy metal round floor register. Very ornate. It measures 9 1/4 inches across the top, about 7 1/2 inches across at the bottom, and is 2 1/4 inches deep, with the vents closed. It is 3 1/8 inches deep with the vents open. I think it is cast iron, but, I am not sure. There is a slide in the middle of the top that opens and closes the vents.
