This is a very cool vintage round/circular cast iron grate/vent/duct cover. The center piece is completely gone. All in all this item has a 15 5/8" diameter. The center hole is 6.25" in diameter. This one does have a section that has been broken out of it. As well from this broken section there are some cracks braching from this damage. There is a heavy coat of paint on the front/face of the vent that has crazing and some chipping/flaking of the paint but it all helps give it great character/patina. This is an excellent metal art piece that can be used as home/office decor or wall art of some sort. Please ask questions if you have any! We do combine shipments as well as free local pick-ups. 19" Antique Ornate Cast Iron Heat Register Grate Wall Vent Radiator Cover Grill
Here is an antique cast iron wall register. Heat grate, or radiator cover. It is pretty. With an ornate grid pattern of stars or crosses mixed with zig zag lines. The top surface is 19 inches by 8 3/4 inches. The bottom is 18 x 7 1/2 inches. The opening is 17 1/2 by 7 1/8 inches. So if you are covering a radiator it would need to be smaller than that size. It is in very good used condition without any cracks. This old register is covered with white pain t. Some of the paint has chipped off around the edges. The default shipping method is US PS Parcel Post. But you can change that to Priority Mail if you would like the package to arrive sooner.

This is an old wall register grate heat vent. The name of the Art Deco pattern escapes me. Single lever flap door. Lever works just fine. Outside measurements of 12 x 14 1/4" Top has a depth of 1" while the bottom increases in depth to 2" The painted finish is dried and gradually chipping off so you shouldn't have any problems removing the balance. Antique Vtg Decorative Ornately Carved Wood Grate / Vent Cover Bird & Flowers
I am selling a vintage Decorative ornately carved Wood grate or vent cover. The carving on the vent cover appears to be a bird amongst leaves and flowers. The vent cover is approximately 16 inches long and about 5 3/4inches wide.And approximately 1 1/4 inches deep. Each of the four corners have an approximate 5/8 inch notch cut out of the wood which may have allowed it to fit into a certain sized opening. The wood has not been cleaned or restored. There is residual turquois, orange, gold and green paint on the front and side surfaces of the vent. The carving in the vent is very ornate and intricate and would look very nice hanging on a wall or for display as well. It looks like there would be room to put some tiny Xmas lights being it if you wanted. I will try to answer any questions that you may have. Thanks

Lg.Vintage Register Cover/Heating Grate/Vent Cover Adjustable Vent Wall Upright
Vintage metal heat vent taken out of our home during a remodeling project. Grate is painted white. Original gold/bronze finish on vent frame. Approx 15" x 12 5/8" Base is approx 2-1/4" wide. Tapering to approx 1" at the top. Fits 12" wide x 9" opening. Door works. A few grills are slightly bent but they are fairly easy to bend or hammer back in place from the backside when you are stripping off the paint. I have had good luck with spray primer and paint for restoring these vents.

2 Solid Brass Wall Decor Sculptures Heating Air Duct Vent Cover Grate Register
Up for Auction is a Pair of.well. I'm not quite sure what they are! My best guess is that they were some type of Air-conditioning or Heating Vent covers. Given where I got them, I would like to believe that they were salvaged from an Art Deco building in New York City, which was remodeled or torn down, but I have no actual knowledge of their origin. They are very heavy solid brass(about 8 pounds apiece! and measure 16-3/4 inches in diameter. They are curved, and the center protrudes 2 inches out(see pictures) There are 8 countersunk screw holes around the perimeter that were used for mounting. There are some remnants of the wall paint from where they were mounted on the backs(one of the things that makes me think they were from air ducts) The scalloped edge around the outside edge really looks like a sprocket or cog, and gives them a ... morecool Industrial feel. In this auction we have a wonderful cast iron heater vent grate signed Symonds. This is dated on the back at 1917 and is in fantastic shape. This just screams Art Deco. Not literally. That would be just plain weird! The grate can be opened with just a push and the entire center assembly folds back and pushes the plate behind it open to let in the warm air. The grate remains to cover the hole, but it gets a really cool look. Just think how great these would look in your room. There is some minor oxidation and signs of wear from use to this piece, however this could be easily remedied.
