Selling this Vintage Antique Cast Solid Brass American Eagle Flag Pole Finial/Topper. Eagle has a very nice curved 5 1/4" wingspan and stands 2 1/2" high. Between Eagles legs is a predrilled hole to mount a thin flag pole on back. The back is cast open to rest pole and has the initials MC stamped inside. Eagle shows great detail in brass. Very well detailed collectible. Vintage 8 1/2" X 6" gate fence mailbox topper finial Cocker Spaniel. There are holes at both ends of the base that are 6 1/2" apart making this possible for mounting to a wood base for display. It has no pitting or damage. Vintage Heavy Solid Metal 6 5/8" Flag Pole Topper/Finial Spear/Arrow Head
This finial appears to be older; however. I'm not an expert and cannot say for certain how old it may be. I believe that it's a flag pole finial, but I'm also not sure of this; it could be used as a fence post finial I suppose. I'm also not sure what metal it's made of. It has a gold-tone finish that appears to have wear. Please see the pictures for the details of this piece. I can tell you that it measures about 6 5/8 inches long with a diameter of 3/4" at the bottom. There is also a hole near the bottom for securing the finial to the pole. The spear portion is flat versus 3 dimensional. This piece is in decent used and vintage condition with some wear to the finish and perhaps a little bit of wear to the metal. It's fairly heavy for its size.

Antique solid Brass American Eagle Flag Pole Topper Finial Sculpture Statue 1890
Antique solid cast brass Eagle with two tiered dome caps with ornate cast brass curtain sash all around. The Eagle would have been used as a flag pole or lamp pole topper finial. To me it looks like it may have come off one of those old river boat paddle boats because of the ornate curtain like sash around the domes. The Eagle is cast in the old style. It is a two piece cast. The body and wings are soldered together. It is all brass and the bottom dome is painted black. The opening where the pole would go in is 2" inches across. It is in great shape with great details.

Here is a vintage all solid bronze Gate. Fence Post, Column Topper, Large Ball Finial. Left in as found condition with nice original patina. Measures 11" high the ball is 6" wide and the bottom opening is 2 3/4" Hollow center. It has a small dent, please see photo. Heavy item weighing 12 pounds. I put a magnet on it and it does not stick. This is a beautiful vintage Eagle Flag Pole topper that came out of an Estate Sale along time ago. I believe it is cast brass but I am no expert on metals. I have seen some that say cast aluminum but on the bottom where the hole is it definitely looks gold. It weighs a bit over 2lbs and is 11" tall by 5" wide. Large Vintage Brass Eagle Flag Pole Flagpole Topper or Finial with Long Tassels
Up for bids is a large vintage cast brass eagle flagpole topper or finial with attached long gold braided tassels as pictured. The eagle would have sat on top of a flagpole in a county courthouse. VFW, American Legion Post or some other type of fraternal club or organization. It looks like an older piece from the 1950's or 1960's with lots of detail. It stands 8 1/2" high from the opening for the pole to the top of the wings and measures 9 3/8" wide across the tips of the wings. It weighs 2 1/4 pounds with attached tassels that measure 48" long. The inside opening for the flagpole is 7/8" wide. Everything looks to be in good condition with no cracks or breaks but there is some light wear to the finish on the eagle and to the tassels as seen in the pictures.

5 Inch Tall Brass Eagle Flag Topper Finial - Left Facing
Very nice Eagle that I'm guessing was originally a finial for the top of a flag pole. I am pretty sure it is brass; it is heavy. The color is right, and it is non-magnetic. It is in really nice condition. It does have a couple of spots on it that you can see in the photos that may be a bit of corrosion. There is a crack on the back side of the right wing. It does not go deep so it may be a crack in the coating(it cannot be seen from the front) It is just under 5 inches tall and the wing span is also 5 inches. It has a 1 inch diameter hole in the bottom and a 1/2 inch diameter hole in the top. I'm really not sure what the hole in the top is for. I SHIP WITHIN THE UNITED STATES ONLY. Selling this Vintage Antique Solid Brass Eagle Flag Pole Finial/Topper. Eagle has a very nice curved 5 1/4" wingspan and stands 2 1/2" high. Between Eagles legs is a predrilled hole to mount a thin flag pole on back. The back is cast open to rest thin pole inside. The initials MC stamped inside. Eagle shows great detail in brass. This eagle is made of bronze. This variation of eagle was not made after 1880.This is not as used by General Custer at the little big horn. All US flagstaff eagles have a great history.
