The brass screw shields at the bottom are slightly out of round. They came with a large Stove finial I sold about a year ago and were too pretty at the time for me to part with! Gorgeous grain and patina. From the tip of the top bradd finial to the bottom of screw is 2 ¾. Screw tip included in the measurement so will be a bit shorter. The flowers are held in with a small nail and one overlaps more than the other. Not sure what they went on, would be great on a doll house, curtain rod, garden fence post, or creative project. Pair of antique wood newell post tops caps finials oak Eastlake
Pair of antique oak newell post caps in great useable condition. The top portion is solid oak covered with ornate oak details. These pieces are nailed to the block with small finish nails. Most of the detail work is in great condition with a few small cracks in the wood originating from the nails. Otherwise just normal wear and tear. A little bit of crackling in the varnish finish. One cap has a lighter finish than the other, looks like a wood stain was added later. There are a few small chips missing on the edges of the base but not very noticeable. The base measures 6 7/8" x 7" stands 5 3/16" tall.

Here are a pair of unstained oak finials. Intended for a 2" 2.25" diameter wood drapery rod. However, we can see these as fitting the top of a staircase newel post or some craft project. These are approximately 5" long x 3.5" diameter(at the widest point) They have never been used and still have the plastic protective tube over the screw; however, we no longer have the original packaging. Craftsmanship is perfect and the two finials match each other exactly.
