Antique Cast Iron Architectural & Gardening Finials Fincing Building
Up for auction are four architectural& gardening building or fencing finials recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. They are all found in good used condition. One side is opened, as seen in photo#4. The other side is closed, as seen in photo#3. I think they would make great towel racks, or any other repurposing projects you have in mind. They have remnants of the original paint as well and measures approximately 7 3/4" x 1 1/2" x 3" in size. Quite primitive and very decorative as late 19th early 20th Century cast iron pieces. Up for auction is a large-sized old cast iron fence finial shaped like a Fleur de Lis. This heavy old piece measures 7.5 inches high. Has a maximum width of 4.75 inches and the base measures 1.5 inches across. Inner square opening is 1-1/ 5" of an inch x 1-1/ 5" of an inch. Condition is great; there is random light rust. But no ob vious damage. It is pewter-tone. I don't know how old it is. I've owned it for approximately 12 yea rs. Having purchased it from an antique shop. This antique weight circa late 1800's retains a old black paint and the original large 2 inch diameter hook ring. The top has a pyramidal 5 five step ridged design. The condition is very good with no damage. This weight measures 5 inches tall including the top ring. The base is 3 by 2 and 3/4 with the top measuring 2 and 1/2 by 2 and 1/2 inches. This listing features an old. Solid cast iron bird finial. I believe it was on a gate or fence since it has a threaded post on the end. It is painted white and there is the usual weather wear to the paint with some rusting as shown. I think it is wonderful. There is still some threading left on the post. The bird measures 3 1/2" tall and is 3 1/2" wide. The threaded post is 1/4" long and 1/8" in diameter. It is heavy weighing over 1 pound unpacked. Too sweet! Antique Architectural Plaque Abraham Lincoln Cast Iron Building Remnant
Up or auction is an antique architectural cast iron embossed bust of Abraham Lincoln sculpture recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition, but appears to have been cleaned. Some of the detail has weathered off from over the years. It is made of metal and does attract a magnet. This was probably produced at the turn of the century when McKinley was assassinated. Overall, this architectural sculpture measures approximately 9 1/8" x 9 3/8" in size. I cannot find any makers marks. A great piece to be mounted and stabilized for display in any setting, formal to primitive. Great for outside use as well. Large Cast Iron Architectural Pineapple Finial circa 1900
Ornate cast iron post finial and base. The finial is in the shape of a pineapple and it has very good detail. I think the finial dates circa 1900. The finial mounted on the base is 25" tall and the base is 9 1/2" wide. The 2 pieces weigh 35 pounds. As you can see there is a threaded mounting rod in the base. The finial and base are in excellent condition no chips or cracks. They will make a great addition to any garden.

This is a lot of 3 large spear architectural fence post toppers with brackets. the brackets look like wall mount so they can be used as artwork for indoors and out.
