Antique 1882 Dark Wood Newell Post With Wooden Carved Light Fixture
This came from the back staircase of a historic victorian home in Wellington. Ohio that I am rehabbing. You are more than welcome to inspect and pick up in person. Right now it is in 2 pieces, as I found it. The light section is really heavy with a thick angular centerpiece with surrounding spindles. I would assume it is oak. Heavy dense wood, but I can't really tell for sure with the dark stain. I definitely would rewire. That is a light socket on top. Together they are 61" tall. With the newell post being 41" alone. 6" across. Some egg and dart trim is present around top, which can easily be repaired with new. Please ask any questions. Posted with

They were purchased in Iowa in the early 70's and have been used as decor pieces since(by themselves on a bookshelf or as bookends) They have their original paint and are in wonderful condition given their age.
