a pair of thumb latch eastlake door handles. Made of red bronze. about 9 inches long, they are unpolished, having a shine only on the contact areas[handle and thumb latch] and showing off the nice warm worn patina. no damage at all, though the"dummy" handle is missing its thumb latch. the last 2 pics attempt to show the patented date under the thumb-latch of May 1880 K-38-First of all. LOT ANTIQUE CAST IRON METAL PAINTED CURTAIN BRACKETS & FINIALS RED SWIRL ORIGINA
Lot of 4 antique curtain rod brackets and 4 matching finials- 2 left and 2 right. One left finial is missing the full swirl at the end but is still suitable for use. These have a greenish finish/ patina with red painted detail. I believe these to be quite old. I have not cleaned the finish in any way- will leave that to new owner. The brackets each extend 4 inches on one end and 3 inches on the other. They all have a smaller piece w/original screw that can be adjusted. The finials are 6 inches long with approx. a 2/12 inch piece for inserting into the curtain rod. That is not included in the finial length. The broken swirl finial measures about 5 inches long so is missing about an inch of the design. No screws or mounting hardware. A nice original BRASS EAGLE that was mounted to a copper shelf wihich can easily be removed with one screw.7.5 in. wing span. Excluding shelf-4 in. tall and 5+1/4 in. long.Eagle is good as found condition showing traces of red paint and gold gilt, shelf is ok condition but does have a solder spot probably from an emblem being removed(not a hole under solder.Probably an old flag pole or coffee grinder topper.I accept Paypal.
