Vintage Brass Bronze Eagle Flag Pole Topper Finial Unknown ?
Antique Vintage Finial of sorts.I am not sure if this actually came off of a flagpole or something else. It is a super heavy piece weighing 8.35 ounces. It does not stick to a very strong 65 pound magnet. It is approximately 2" tall with a 5 inch wingspan. I can not completely commit to the type of metal. However it appears brass or bronze in color and does not stick to a very strong magnet.I really think it's solid Brass I photographed the bottom of the base putting my camera through a loop because to me it looked like there was a possible marking there.Perhaps a TC? Vintage 7" Solid Brass Spear Shaped Finial Fence Post Flag Pole Topper
This listing is for one vintage solid brass spear shaped finial/topper. I'm not sure what this came off of. Could have been a fence post or flag pole topper. It does not have a threaded opening. Just slips on and has a hole to pin it in place. Measures 7" tall. Opening is 3/4" OD. It does show age and use wear. Scuffs. Scratches, tarnishing. Heavy Brass Eagle Flag Topper Finial for Flag Pole - Old Design 7 inch height
Old School design of Heavy Brass Golden Eagle. Comes with original screw. Salvaged from an stage backdrop at high end theater. Very heavy brass with almost no cast lines that are easily seen. Possibly molded from one piece. The indented bottom portion of the eagle is exactly 2" The depth of sticking a pole into the hole for mounting is 2" as well. From just above the ring before the eagles foot pedestal is exactly 5 inches. The wingspan is 4.5 inch at its largest and the pedestal ring the eagle stands on is 3/4 inch. The more worn portion of the base under the eagles feet and pedestal is exactly 2 inches. Which is the precise depth a pole can hold the finial. The size(diameter) of the hole is 7/8 inch wide. An antique architectural salvage cast iron post finial. Stands 5-1/2” tall and measure 2-1/2” in diameter at the widest. Has a 3/8” X 5 1/2" unthreaded rod in center on the bottom. Weighs 2 lbs. 8 oz. There are no cracks or chips casting in very good condition. Questions welcome.

Large Vintage Gold Colored Brass Eagle Flag Pole Flagpole Topper or Finial
Up for bids is a large vintage gold colored eagle flagpole topper or finial as pictured made from a non magnetic cast metal probably brass. The eagle would have sat on top of a flagpole in a county courthouse. VFW, American Legion Post or some other type of fraternal club or organization. It looks like an older piece from the 1950's or 1960's with lots of detail. It stands 8" high from the opening for the pole to the top of the head and measures 5 1/4" wide across the middle of the wings. The inside opening for the flagpole is 7/8" wide. In the pictures I just have it sitting on the handle of a broomstick. It does not come with a flagpole. Overall everything looks to be in good condition with no cracks or breaks. Being sold as pictured and described so please ask any questions you may have before you place a bid.
