CAST IRON STREET LAMP FINIAL AND COLLAR The finial stands 16" tall. It has 40F1 stamped on bottom and 40J on side. The bottom has three holes and I believe there is an old bolt rolling around inside. The collar(my term) stands 12" tall. The bottom is open. These may or may not have been attached together on the same street lamp. Sometimes. The finial is on the very top, and the collar could be lower on the pole. Both pieces are untouched as far as finish Believed to have come from a street lamp dating to early 1900's. The photo of the streetlamp is not the exact match. But shown to give an idea of how it may have looked. The pieces are very heavy as they are both cast iron. I am listing as pickup only. But it glows brightly under the black light. I thought they might be drawer pulls or possibly furniture or curtain hardware; but I think they are for a chandelier or hanging light fixture. Antique? Vintage. Old Finials for Lamp, Flag Pole, Furniture or other. Brass, Iron or some other heavy metal 2 individual cast metal(iron? brass? some sort of mix of other? I am not sure) decorative finials that could be used for various lamps(floor. Table, ceiling) or in a garden on a stake or fence type of object. You can re-purpose it. Up-cycle it in various ways. There is a screw- on thread type of mount on each of these. The Christmas tree piece, which is the heavier of the two. Is 3 1/2" tall and about 1" at the base. The other smaller. Antique Art Deco Iron Floor Lamp Threaded Finial Very Large 5 1/2" tall GREAT
Listing an extremely large Art Deco floor lamp finial in excellent condition. It is a full 5 1/2" tall and 2" across the widest part of the top. It has an octagonal shaped threaded base. Antique Cast Iron Metal Lamp Finial With Old Paint Beautiful!
Gorgeous old lamp finial. Appears to be cast iron with buttery yellow/gold old paint. There's a nut inside that grips an old brass extension piece so the upper part can detach from the lower brass part. The painted finial is open at the top so not sure if it had a top but on a taller lamp or floor lamp, you wouldn't look down in to it. See all photos! It has that great antique look with some chipping of the original paint. Otherwise in great condition! Finial with brass extender measures 4" long.
