Up for auction is this set of 4 carved wood acorn/pineapple finials. These are being sold as is- as found. Believe that the are mahogany. They were painted white and are now quite chippy. They are distressed, there are some cracks- definitely display a shabby chic charm. Measure 6 inches high. Bottom peg has a diameter of between 1 inch and 1 1/8 inches. Lot of 3 DECORATIVE FINIALS Shabby Chic / Cottage Look
This is a set of 3 Decorative Finials. They are white/ cream and are very distressed. I bought them at an antique fair a couple of years ago. I do not know what they are made of. They look like wood but are too light to be wood. They would be great in a cottage setting or on a mantle. The largest one is approximately 20 inches tall and the two smaller ones are approximately 13 inches tall. One of the smaller ones is not totally flat on the bottom. That is how I bought it. They retain most of there original old red paint. Nice fluted post with decorative round finial topped with a pineapple. They are in very good solid condition. They will free stand for display but they are quite top heavy. The would be great toppers for your iron fence or they would make a great pair of lamps by removing the pineapple finial and threading it. They measure approx. 22"long.
