Antique Stork Heron Cast iron metal Finial?? Great Details in bird and painting
I am not sure if this is a finial or not but that is all I can deduct it must be- it is a bird/ stork/ heron with a screw bottom and made of cast iron I think it stands 3" tall and at its widest point is 2 3/4" the paint has some minor wear to it but over all it is very nice and great details.

Flowers are a pressed die-cut and molded metal which were painted black and once gilded with gold paint. There is a smattering of the remains of the gold paint on some of the pieces. There is some flaking of the black paint with minor rust where there is bare metal. Central twisted cast iron'flame' is screwed through the flower into the cast iron pedestal shaped curtain rod attachment. All of the bases have their set screws. CAST METAL EAGLE FINIAL, WALL DECORATION; MADE OF IRON, BRONZE, ALUMINUM
This is a lot of two cast metal eagle items. Fresh from an estate sale filled with antiques. The larger item is possibly cast aluminum. Painted black, and has an eagle figure with wings spread, nice detail in the feathers, and two drilled holes for mounting onto a wall. It is molded with eagle leaning forward away from the wall, adding depth to this sculptural ornament. It is 20" across, 6" high and 3" deep. It has some paint loss, wear and dirt at back. This may date from the 1935 to 1945 era. The smaller item has what looks like a bronze nineteenth century eagle form on a S-scroll cast iron support. The eagle shows copper tones and some green corrosion at back. The scroll support shows signs of rust. This may have been a gate. Fence or garden ornament finial. It has sections that look like they were cut off at the very bottom ... moreof the center scrolls. This is 8.5" x 3" x.5" in size. LOT ANTIQUE CAST IRON METAL PAINTED CURTAIN BRACKETS & FINIALS RED SWIRL ORIGINA
Lot of 4 antique curtain rod brackets and 4 matching finials- 2 left and 2 right. One left finial is missing the full swirl at the end but is still suitable for use. These have a greenish finish/ patina with red painted detail. I believe these to be quite old. I have not cleaned the finish in any way- will leave that to new owner. The brackets each extend 4 inches on one end and 3 inches on the other. They all have a smaller piece w/original screw that can be adjusted. The finials are 6 inches long with approx. a 2/12 inch piece for inserting into the curtain rod. That is not included in the finial length. The broken swirl finial measures about 5 inches long so is missing about an inch of the design. No screws or mounting hardware. Antique Cast Iron Metal Lamp Finial With Old Paint Beautiful!
Gorgeous old lamp finial. Appears to be cast iron with buttery yellow/gold old paint. There's a nut inside that grips an old brass extension piece so the upper part can detach from the lower brass part. The painted finial is open at the top so not sure if it had a top but on a taller lamp or floor lamp, you wouldn't look down in to it. See all photos! It has that great antique look with some chipping of the original paint. Otherwise in great condition! Finial with brass extender measures 4" long.
