I listed it as synthetic, I'm guessing some sort of hard resin material. It is painted to look identical to a bronzed metal look. The threads are on the bottom and are"male" or opposite what one would normally find. You can use it as is for your Lamp. about 5 1/2" tall. 4 1/4" wide and the screw hole is about 1/2" i'm not sure if it went to a clock or a lamp or maybe acted as a handle of some sort. obviously it has age. i dont see why it wouldn't clean up well but i do not like to clean items like this because some people prefer the original condition. likewise, if you intend to clean it. that is on you. i'm not saying you can or should clean it so if you need to take it to a professional to get it cleaned, dont expect me to pay for that. while i'm open to offers. Brass Antique Metal Finial Lot Light Bracket Ornate Switch for Oil Lamp Green
This listing is for 3 Light Fixture Pieces. This is a very beautiful Brass finial that may have screwed onto the bottom of a chandeleir or maybe on top of an oil lamp or some other such. It is very ornate and decorative with a beautiful plant theme with green and gold leaves on top. It is 3.25 Inch Tall. There is also a small brass switch which may be a key but I think that with the threads on the inside of the end that it was most likely a switch for an antique lamp or maybe an oil lamp. It is small at 1.75 Inch long. There is also a lamp accessory to a shade to sit on a small lamp. The lamp bracket is steel but the very beautiful ornate finial I believe to be brass.
