2 large vintage brass bed knobs bedknobs pair cannonball finials
Up for auction is a pair of large vintage brass cannonball bedknobs bed knobs. See pic 3 to judge size against a regular sized clothespin. They are hollow 4 piece. Collar, shaft, lower ball and upper ball and measure approx. 6" tall and 3 1/2" across, 12 3/4" circumfrence and the bottom opening is approx. 2" They may look a bit wonky in a couple of these pics, but that was just because the interior bolt was hitting the table an throwing them off kilter a bit.you can finagle them to sit straight, I just didn't notice it when I was taking pix. I am unsure if these pieces go together but probably came from the same piece.There are four ball finials(hollow) Four shapely separators which consist of two pieces put together(hallow) and a group of 13 small brass balls. All the larger balls and separators have dents but there are no cracks and all the small balls have white paint on them.
