The Abelam believe that the mythological figure Wapikan taught them how to grow yams as well as how to live properly. I.e. he brought civilization to the Abelam. However. As time passed, the Abelam disregarded Wapikan’s teachings, and Wapikan eventually killed himself in despair. The yams. When the harvest ceremony(yam festival) arrives. The men will gather in their best yams and place them in front of the Haus Tamabarun(men’s house) The best yam

Vintage Sepik River Crocodile Sprit Figure Png Papua New Guinea Cowrie Eyes
Vintage Sepik river crocodile sprit figure. Expertly carved top and bottom with realistic scales and a cheeky grin. Measures 72cm long. Thank you for looking at this auction. I have a number of other items on Ebay so please do take a look at them. If shipping charges are not listed High bidder should send their address after the close of the auction to allow me to calculate shipping charges. I estimate for small items. But I need to check your address and figure in insurance for larger items. I am very fair with shipping charges and I will combine shipping on multiple orders. 1. Refunds and/or exchanges are handled at the discretion of the seller. We encourage you to bid responsibly and do your research as we do not offer refunds in cases where the buyer changes his/her mind. All shipping costs as a result of approved refunds will be covered ... moreby the seller in all cases. 2. No responsibility is taken by Arete-Antiques for damage of goods in transit. All care is taken to package and send your item to your specified location. However we cannot guarantee the way your package is delivered or handled by the appropriate postal service. Therefore we encourage you to take out insurance for an additional charge in order to recoup your expenses should any accident occur. 3.Paypal payments take a few days to clear to Australia- 3-5 days an i will often post before the transfer is completed but sometimes i will have to wait for the process to complete before i can post your item. So early payment and bank transfer is preferred because i cannot post every day of the week. In or about January 2013 I caused certain comments to be published on ebay advertisment item number 170823942639, which impugned the personal and professional integrity of Marvin Hurnall. The comments I made concerning Mr Hurnall were utterly baseless and I unreservedly retract them and apologise to mr Hurnall for any offence they may have caused Posted with;1?RcmdId ViewItemDescV4,RlogId p4%60bo7%60jtb9%3Feog4d72f%2B%3E%3B1%3F-144da5a1703-0x11b-
