The timang is made of iron which was formerly decorated on its surface with surrounding patterns of inlaid silver wire. A lot of the wire patterns became lost over the times as well as the complete belt buckle shows rust. It was never cleaned but is clear enough to show its age and authenticy. The deep wine red epik is made of a kind of velvet fabric decorated with an gold coloured surrounding band of plastik( pieces.
