Free Shipping Condition: Used Location: Brush Creek, United States Antique Oak Curved Glass Mirror Art Nouveau Curio China Cabinet Carved Wreath Claw Feet with Original Key This cabinet belonged to my parents who gave ... moreit to me. But we are moving and cannot take it with us. It is hard to see it go because it is a really beautiful piece. My Mom took very good care of it and I can remember dusting and polishing it through my life. There is the littlest bit of wax residue in some of the carving. But it has been kept beautiful with Old English and Windex, and Liquid Gold Brand Polish. The worst of the surface wear on the wood is over the legs which are not bad for the age. There is damage to the two claw feet in the front. One piece that we had has been glued on but the other side has a piece missing. We believe it is from the turn of the century 1905 to 1920 but cannot be more specific. My Mom told me that my Uncle gave it to my Dad and Mom in the 1940s. But Mom is no longer with us to get more information and I only remember this piece from about 1962. A very elegant design. It stands 60 5/8 inches the top of the cabinet. The removable decorative back piece adds about another 7 inches making the overall height 67 3/4 inches. It is 41 1/4 inches wide and 15 1/2 deep. The inside dimensions are 36 1/2 inches wide by 44 1/2 tall by 12 1/4 inches deep. There are three glass shelves. One shelf is slightly thicker and I can remember my Mother having a shelf made when we moved in 1964 as one broke. Very nicely carved at the top with a laurel wreath and ribbon design. There is beading around the top front edge. There's carving at the bottom and there are occasional chips here and there. The joints are all tight. AND THE BEST OF ALL. THE ORIGINAL KEY IS STILL IN IT. ALWAYS WAS IN A NON-SMOKING ENVIRONMENT FOR LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. Please look at the photos closely and carefully for added description. 19th Century Chest of Drawers This is a fantastic piece of historical furniture. This is a chest of drawers or dresser from the early to mid 1800's. It appears to be constructed primarily of walnut wood. There are several distinguishing features that influence our opinion as to the date of this piece: The dresser was constructed with square-head nails. Which were used from the late 1700's to the late 1800's. It is constructed of solid-wood boards measuring up to 16" in width. Which could only have been made from very large trees long ago. The dovetails used to construct the front and back of the drawers are all hand-cut. The smallest drawer has 3 tails and 4 pins. And the larger drawers have up to 5 tails and 6 pins. The drawer bottoms are chamfered, meaning the front and side edges and the drawer bottoms are finished at ... morea slop. While the inside top of the drawer is flat. This was cut and finished by hand-held tools, which is an indication that it is pre-1840. All of the saw cuts in the wood appear to be parallel rather than circular. This indicates the use of mill saws during construction. The wood also appears to be hand-planed. The dresser features turned-wood pulls. Which we believe to be original. It also has paneled sides, which was a feature in many early Philidelphia chests of drawers. This piece is in good. Antique condition overall with some general signs of age and use. There is a significant crack in the drawer second from the top. It is still structurally sound. All of the drawers have locks, but we do not have the matching key. This piece has cracks, wear, chips, discoloration and repairs that are consistant with a piece of this age. The"flaws" only contribute to the primateive nature of this chest of drawers. They quietly tell the stories of its life. The dresser measures 45 7/8" tall by 42 5/8" wide by 20" deep. The drawer faces are all 36" wide. Antique 19th Century Southern Federal Graduated 4 Drawer Chest Dresser
Here is a really nice early 19th century chest of drawers. This item is overall in good shape and I'm not sure but looks like original finish. Missing one of the drawer pulls and top of dresser has a split between the seam of wood. Right side of dresser has same type of split between two boards. Dresser exhibits old scratches and mars associated with antique furniture. Finish on the dressers top also has some issues with staining. Wear and discoloration. Top 3 drawers have old lock mechanisms and bottom drawer does not. Measures 33 1/4 inches tall x 20 1/4 inches deep x 39 inches wide. Please examine all pictures and ask questions before bidding. It is in good antique condition with normal wear and tear commensurate with age and use- some dings and scratching found commonly on old furniture. Not sure of age. I am guessing 1800s to early 1900s. You may know better than I. Knobs have a mother of pearl design except for one knob which is different than all the others. Beautiful grain and tons of character. I purchased it from an antiques store in San Bernardino. California. I was told it was from England. That's all the history I know. We have gone over this piece extensively, and so have many other professionals in the appraisal business, and they are confident it is an original built sometime between 1790- 1840 most likely in Connecticut. Local appraised value of this piece is $15K-$25K. It is a very ornate, all hand carved, which is uncommon for these types of highboys. Only other one we have found online that even comes close to looking like this one is in an antique shop in New York City. The piece is in very good condition for its age. The 6 matching porcelain knobs add character and the dresser has a unique area set aside for a nameplate. This piece has a cardboard name plate bearing the name Abel Morrall's Redditch, an English company primarily doing business in the 1800's. Antique French Oak Marble Top and splash Washstand Wash Stand, Butler
This auction is for an Estate found antique wash stand. It would also work well as a Dinning room butler. The previous owners believed it was French and over 100 years old. The wood looks like flame mahogany or oak. I believe it has been varnished. The wood is very shiny. There is one drawer with a divider down the middle. The drawer opens from underneath. On the inside of the drawer there are some stains. It does open and close with a minimum of sticking. It could use some wax. The marble top is gray and white. The surface is a little rough and definitely could use a buffing. There are some small nicks and there is a crack along the back. You can see this in the 12th or last photo. Across the bottom. A pot board connects the four legs provided plenty of strength and stability to the washstand. The pot board's surface looks a little bubbled ... moreI believe from water sitting on it. The right front leg has a chip on one of the rings. You can see this in the 11th photo. I think the legs may have been shortened or they had a cap, rollers on them. The stand is 30" wide, 19" deep and 33" tall. The splash is 3-3/8" tall with the wood adding another 3/8" There is a paper label on the back of the drawer but most of it is gone. Dimensions: 43.5ʺW × 22.25ʺD × 60.5ʺ. Eight drawers of various sizes comprise this beautifully carved high boy dresser. Antique Trunk Lock - "Argosy"
I am selling a brass-coloured trunk lock. A small picture of a boat is engraved on the top of the lock with"Argosy" written on the sail. It says"Lever Lock Hand Made" underneath the boat. The bottom and top parts of the lock separate and could be placed on a trunk and used with a padlock. The lock pieces themselves could be easily through-bolted to a trunk- the picture of the back of the lock shows the nuts that would attach the lock. There is no key and I'm not sure that the key mechanism is complete. I am also including a small. Keyless drawer lock in this auction. It is missing its spring but is otherwise intact. It measures 1 5/8" tall x 1 3/4" wide x 3/8" thick. I'll get rid of this lock if you don't have a use for it. But I thought it might be useful to the right person. Thanks for looking!

Antique Gem De Luxe Razor Swivel Suction Cup Shaving Mirror Vintage Gillette
Wow this is a very rare old Gem.De.Luxe shaving mirror. I couldn't find another one anywhere on the net. only a few razors of that brand. It has a spin down suction cup base. The old suction cup is hard as a rock from age so it wont work. But its all there. The mirror is real good just a light area of alligatoring. Its nickel plated not sure about the base metal I believe some brass some steel(the swivel clamp has a little surface rust. Stands 10" tall. The mirror is 5 1/4" in diameter. The base is 2 3/4" in diameter. It will stand up with out the suction cup working but is not real stable.

Antique Mahogany Chippendale Highboy circa 1790 RARE!!
This is an 8 ft tall circa 1790's Chippendale mahogany highboy that we have had in the family since the early 60's. My parents paid over 4000 for it then and had it appraised for over 8000 a few years later. It has a webbed bonnet with urn finials. Fluted columns along the side to the ball and claw feet. The center drawer is carved shell design. This is a real nice and massive piece. It has dovetailed drawers that are all period. The down side seems to be new drawer oulls. Circa 1870 Mahogany Bow front Sturdy See description for full condition report, This stunning handcrafted piece was made in England in 1870. The warm patina of the mahogany has a satin luster that would mesh well with most decorating styles. The outward bow of the facade brings an element of brightening elegance to any setting. The two-on-three style drawers provide a great deal of storage. All of the drawers come equipped with all-brass hardware and lock escutcheons. However there is no key. The edges of the drawers are ... moredecorated with a fine bead molding. Just under the top molding is a handsomely inlaid double end spear design done from satinwood string inlay. The piece sits on a pair of very sturdy shaped bracket feet. The dresser is around 145 years old and in good condition overall. The drawers open easily and shut tight. The brass pulls are fastened securely to the drawers although they are not original to this antique dresser. There is a small chip in one as pictured. The mold around the top has been repaired on all sides. There is also a strong repair on the front right foot. You will find some separation marks in the darker spots on both sides and along the front moulding. There are signs of character building wear on the entire piece and the top has a number of light marks and stains. The pictures are a great representation of the condition. None of these items listed above have any sort of effect on the structural integrity of the piece as it is very sturdy. Wonderful antique dressers like this are hard to find.
