I could have sold these early 1900's Candy Store Counter display jars seperate. But the have been together for so long I'am listing them in one sale with no reserve! Each hand blown glass jar measures 5 1/2" base dia x 12" total ht including the lid. The tin lids are embossed with a great looking Art Nouveau/ Art Deco design and the sides are punched with the name"Rowntrees Gums" on the front& back side. Since the display jars are hand blown one jar weighs 2.1 lbs and the other one is over a pound heavier weighing 3.3 lbs. Both are still in ex condition however one jar has two nicks on the inside edge of the top rim( see last two pics) Both nicks are well concealed when the lid is firmly in place.

Beautiful late 19th century Victorian footed green swirl glass trinket box. Centerpiece is the foil picture of the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. Built in 1880, trimmed in an ornate'frame' The famed German Cathedral depicts an interesting dimension with use of the colors in the foil picture. Underneath the picture of the cathedral is written"Dom zu Coln" The picture is protected underneath round glass. The green swirl glass is raised/ribbed and this is quite a heavy piece for its size(4-1/2" Tall x 4-1/4" in diameter) and sits securely on 4 ornate metal feet. Antique Green Victorian Biscuit Jar Art Glass metal lid (not silver) w handle
This is a very beautiful victorian jar. It measures about 6" and 8 1/4" with the lid. I didn't count the handle in the measurements. The diameter is about 4" It is in very great condition as you can see on pictures with no chips. No cracks. There are some imperfections like bubbles in the glass that you can feel with your fingers inside the jar(but not outside) that added to its charm. The color is green, quite enough dark, not clear. I'm not an expert in anything and don't know the kind of glass it is made but it's very very nice. The lid and the handle are in metal. It is very decorative. I don't think it is silver plated. Trinket Dresser Antique Jar cut/pressed glass with metal lid Art Nouveau Style
Up for your consideration is a beautiful heavy crystal with metal lid powered/dresser jar. The jar has a lovely fan cut design with a thumbprint and V cut bottom edge and measures over 2 1/4" tall x about 3" in diameter. The top I am unclear on it is some type of metal/tin. The top measures about 3 1/4" in diameter and has some weight to it. The crystal jar is in excellent condition and the lid has some patina and a few scratches from use. It is a beautiful antique vanity powered jar.

Up for grabs is this absolutely gorgeous antique biscuit jar. NOTE DAMAGE: Before reading on. I want to mention the damage to this jar. Along the bottom of the jar, the outer layer of glass is chipped off along the edge of the bottom of the jar. I believe this happened when the jar was pushed against wall or something. Unfortunately for us, this jar would be worth about $800.00 if it weren't damaged, but, we still believe someone would love to have it. However, it truly is the prettiest color I've seen in a long time.
