A marvelous vintage diamond pattern Vaseline glass vase. From the size and shape it looks like it was made in the 1930’s in the art deco period. Some trapped air bubbles that are consistent with hand blown glass. No cracks or chips. There is one scratch that I can see. In great condition for the age of the vase. Rare Consolidated Diamond Drape Yellow Satin Patterned Art Glass GWTW Oil Lamp SCROLL DOWN FOR ALL PHOTOS Description- An Extra Rare Yellow Satin Glass Patterned Art Glass Lamp in the"Imperial" or"Diamond Drape" Pattern made by the Consolidated Lamp& Brass Co. of Coraopolis. Pennsylvania Circa 1900- 1915. This lamp was made in 4 colors and the yellow satin color is by far the rarest. This is the tall base version. This lamp has been electrified. It has some condition issues(see below) but is still a dramatic and very rare lamp and displays wonderfully. The chimney is definitely an old one, but I don't think it's the original one. The chimney is very elegant looking but doesn't fit quite right. Size- The Lamp is 27-1/2" tall to the top of the Globe shade(Not including the chimney) The shade is 10-1/2" ... morein diameter and 10-1/4" high. The top opening is about 3-1/4" across and the bottom fitter rim is not quite 4" across. Condition- It's a great looking lamp in generally Good Vintage Condition. There are No cracks. Scratches or repairs, but there are some condition issues. The worst of these is a large chip on the fitter rim that measures not quite 1" across and about 3/8" deep. It does NOT go beyond the fitter rim into the body of the shade. This is the ONLY chip on the lamp. There are 3 small flakes on the body of the lamp base. They are all together in the same area of the base and are shown in the last photo. The largest of these flakes is about 1/4" in diameter. There is one very small ding(less than 1/8" in diameter) on the shade that is shown in the next to last photo. I photographed all of these little flakes& dings in light that would make them show up more than they do without special lighting. The lamp displays beautifully. As always. I had it hanging in the house for many years. Out of the sun. Please see photos for details, but I'm amazed at how bright the red and orange colors still are after 100+ years. Miss Nina was obviously not the best seamstress, which makes it more sweet. But she could cook the best cupcakes on this earth. She was still baking even after she went blind. I'd keep this sentimental old quilt, but it will just languish in an attic and needs someone who loves old primitives like this to enjoy. I've priced it very low and will pack it with care. Two sections of antique crazy quilt. Beautiful design, beautiful fabric, lots of silks and taffeta, many patterned pieces. Both pieces are triangle ish shaped, 31"x 65" x 60" and 48" x 39" x 37" Overall the fabric pieces are in great condition, a few have what looks like color running. and a couple have small tears. They are hand sewn together with tiny stitches. I try to describe the items to the best of my ability. antique folding side table - small antique table w/diamond patterned top
This little table is in very good condition with a diamond pattern on the top with hinge underneath center of table. The table sets level and the hinge works well. There are two small dents above the hinge where it appears that screws that were too long were used and then replaced or shortened. But does not effect the tabletop nor do you see these dents/small holes when table is set up for use. There is one small ding on the tabletop that could be removed with some sanding and/or buffing. The bottom of each leg has what appears to be brass tacked on. It measures approximately 9 1/2 inches tall(to the top of the lip) and 5 1/4 inches across the top. And 4 1/4 inches across the bottom. It has a wonderful pattern of small raised diamond shapes around the top and larger raised diamond shapes around the lower part. There is a sort of ruffled pattern around the top and down the handle. I do not see any chips. Cracks, or breaks. This item may have been used so may show signs of wear/scratches. It is very well made and heavy- over 4 pounds. This is a vintage green Hoosier glass vase#40587. It is about 9-3/4 inches tall. 4-3/4 inches round at the widest part, and 4-3/8 inches round at the top. It is in very good condition with no chips, scratches or cracks. This vase has some really interesting character. I has some air bubbles, and, if you look really closely, you will notice that is leans slightly one way. I've described and photographed this item to the best of my ability.
