If you notice below and around the roses you will see raised gold moriage design in the form of leaves and into a swag like design of raisd gold beadwork. Seperating the hand painted areas from the cobalt toward the top region you will have a single gold band with a single row of raised gold beads. the cobalt areas have a gold scroll design upon them.showing some typical age reflected gold wear to them. The two cobalt handles also have gold design upon them. the base shows some cobalt as well with the gold accenting. Each side of the neck of the vase has three areas of opening that you can see through.very nice in design. Under each handle is a rather oval shaped cartouche with a single rose bud present along with a green background as a single row of gold beads surrounding it. a real pretty piece. This unmarked piece measures in at not quite 8 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches at the widest. Upon examination other than the traditional gold loss, I do not find any cracks or repairs. If you look at the last picture, I have showed a small smooth slice chip.almost did not see it, but when you closely examine it at the rim area.in the picture it is to the left of center, measures at 1/4 inch.and when you look at the vase straight on.cannot detect it. Mentioned for accuracy however minor. Cobalt has some porcelain showing through in a few places. All of the things mentioned are not major at all, but I tend to be picky about descriptions.as my high feedback shows. Offered at a crazey low opening bid.

It is 1 7/8" tall. 1 ... more11/16" in diameter at the top, 1 3/8" in diameter at the base, 2 1/8" from the end of the handle to the edge of the rim, has 10 half-flutes, a 2-part mold, and a finished(fire polished) pontil. It is a deep cobalt with just a hint of purple. It is too small to have a ring to it. There is a little bit of wear to the high points on the base. Some bubbles, a few of which are large in comparison to the glass, some straw marks, a spot to the left of the handle that has 2 or 3 brown streaks of glass that are somewhat marble-like but are too faint to see unless looked at closely, some fleabites around the inner rim as well as some roughness from the mold, and there's a small flake off the upper rim. There are close ups so please take a look at them Other than this, given its age it's in fairly good vintage condition and has no chips, cracks, bruises, fractures, or repairs. Because of the wear around the upper rim it's possible that this is a toy mug for a child rather than a whiskey taster. But whiskey tasters could be this size. So it might have been used as both. As far as color goes. This piece is among the best; especially the thick base. The glass isn't thick enough anywhere else to be able to see the rich, deep, cobalt blue and even there you have to look at it straight on to be able to see the faint hint of red that turns it a tint of purple. That's why even with the small flake on the upper rim, the color of this piece is the reason it has always had a place of honor among my favorite pieces of glass. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a very detailed& gorgeous Cobalt Blue Glass Dresser or Powder Jar. This is not a small patch box ~ I would call this a"small-medium" size jar. It has a beautiful floral enamel decoration on the lid with gold accent and beaded flower design surrounding the lid and the jar. There is slight age wear to the gold and some rubbing in places. The floral and scroll enamel designs are in good shape with very little loss. The flowers are white and pink and heavily done so there is texture to them. Only one thin flake chip to the lid rim. See photo six. Barely noticeable with the lid in place. No other chips, cracks or damage to the jar. Though it is not marked, I think this is a Czech/Bohemian jar and most likely made c. late 1800's early ... more1900's. This design& style of decoration was used by Moser and he seldom signed his glass. It is 2 1/4 inches tall and the base is 2 3/4 inches wide. This is a quality jar with beautiful decoration. Item Description FAST& FREE SHIPPING! Up for offer is a very detailed& gorgeous Cobalt Blue Glass Dresser or Powder Jar. This is not a small patch box ~ I would call this a"large" size jar. It has a beautiful floral enamel decoration on the lid with gold accent and beaded flower design surrounding the lid and the jar. There is a delicate painting of a plump little cherub ~ the detail is amazing! I do think that there was likely a very detailed scroll type design inside the open blue area on the lid but it is all worn away now. I say this because as you inspect it very closely you can see a few wavy lines at the very edges. There are a few very shallow marks in the glass here and there which look like tiny popped bubbles and you will see one on the lid. The jar opens and closes easily with a snap. All the hardware is secure ... moreto the jar and the hinge intact. There is light wear to the bottom underneath from moving around on surfaces. There are no chips. Cracks or repairs to the jar. It is most likely c. late 1800's and again in a very typical Czech/Bohemian style but I have also seen some Italian Glass with similar designs as well. It is 2 3/4 inches tall to the top of the domed lid and it is 4 1/2 inches across at the widest part. Antique cobalt blue glass dresser jar or trinket box with handpainted enamel bird on a stained glass-like background and accent flowers. The jar itself is translucent cobalt blue and also has royal blue enameling on the top and in a band around the center of the bottom part. It's in great condition with no wear and no chips or cracks. UNUSUAL ANTIQUE COBALT BLUE BOTTLE WITH A TIN LID OR CUP THAT SCREWS ON THE TOP. THE BOTTLE ALSO HAS A CORK AND COTTON INSIDE THE BOTTLE. THE TIN LID IS MARKED S&D. THE GLASS IS OLD BUBBLE GLASS AND HAS NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. THE TIN HAS NO DINGS OR DENTS. OVERALL VERY NICE CONDITION. IT MEASURES 4 3/4" TALL, 1 7/8" SQUARE BASE. A GREAT RARE PIECE FOR COLLECTORS. Beautiful Blown Vintage-Antique Cobalt Leaded Flint Glass Apothecary Jar Pontil
This lovely Cobalt Blue Apothecary Jar measures about 10.75" tall. it is in excellent condition. It does have some wear to the foot as pictured. Both pieces are pontiled. The bottom section is pontiled on the bottom as normal. The lid is pontiled on the interior of the lid. The jar has a beautiful Bell tone when tapped. We are unsure of age. Maker, or origination. That being said it is a fine piece of blow glass.

about 6" in diameter About 7" tall I have found no damage to the glass. The lid has a worn patch inside that looks like someone tested the metal perhaps.

It is a lidded glass jar with a cameo on the lid. About 3-4 inches tall. Cobalt blue glass is pretty thick. Looks like a mold mark on the bottom. I don't see any makers make on it. The lid has holes in it through the metal work. So maybe it is a spice jar of some sort. Really nice condition. Don't see any damage. Believe the metal work is brass, for it has green in a couple small spots. Looks Victorian. you be the judge. Let me know if you have a guess. thanks for looking.
