Antique Glass Pickle Barrel This glass pickle barrel is large in size and stands about 12 1/4 inches tall. It is extremely heavy qualitiy. The mouth opening is about 5 inches. The barrel is around 8 inches in diameter. It appears to be about 2 1/2 gallons in size but I haven't filled it to be certain. There are markings on the bottom that show a. With a 7 to the left of it, a 1 on the right and a 9 underneath the marking. It is in excellent condition with no chips. The glass lip is smooth to the touch. Please note there is some slight rust around the metal wire and the wooden handle is colored with age. I think you will be pleased with this great find. Antique Vintage Old Country Store Glass Jar Ball Display Crystal Ball Like 1940
Unusual glass jar that was used for display years ago in a variety of ways. I have seen them used as a display for a rose preserved in a liquid. This one as great old glass and stands on the lid gracefully. The lid is so old that it has some rust spots on it. Measures 6 1/2 inches high and 6 inches across at its widest spot.
