Antique Green Opaline Glass Dresser Jar(B) FAB Opalino Opal Bristol. This gorgeous. Mouth blown, antique dresser jar dates from between the last quarter of the 19th Century and the first half of the 20th Century. I don't know the shapes well enough to pinpoint it better, but I don't believe it is any older. It is made of opaline glass, in a scarce green color. It could have been made in France, or Bohemia. The glass is too thick and substantial to be English Bristol glass. It stands 4.25" tall(2.25" to the rim) and is 3.75" in diameter at the widest. It is elegantly simple with only gold gilding as decoration. It is in excellent condition for its age, with some fading to the decoration. There is a pontil scar on the bottom. Antique Green Victorian Biscuit Jar Art Glass metal lid (not silver) w handle
This is a very beautiful victorian jar. It measures about 6" and 8 1/4" with the lid. I didn't count the handle in the measurements. The diameter is about 4" It is in very great condition as you can see on pictures with no chips. No cracks. There are some imperfections like bubbles in the glass that you can feel with your fingers inside the jar(but not outside) that added to its charm. The color is green, quite enough dark, not clear. I'm not an expert in anything and don't know the kind of glass it is made but it's very very nice. The lid and the handle are in metal. It is very decorative. I don't think it is silver plated. This is a very attractive jar with thick green matching glass and lid. Lid is also embossed Ball. Wire bail has a rusty patina but still closes well and holds the top in place as it should. Vintage Antique Green Glass Flat Bottom Spooner, Hand Painted Flowers & Gilted
Up for viewing is an antique hand painted depression green glass spooner with gilted edges and leaves. I bought this at an estate sale and it had an old hand written piece of masking tape on it that said"spooner" I talked to the family and they believe. Based on memory, that it's from at least the 30's. It stands 4.5" high. The top is 4.5" in diameter and the base is 2.5" in diameter. There is no makers mark but the bottom has a cut glass snowflake mark. The rim of the spooner is scalloped and gilted. Around the spooner are two hand painted flowers. pink& white and orange, yellow& white) with light green and gilted leaves. Beautiful! Condition: there are two small dots of paint splatter. One small scratch/nick above a leaf and some of the gilt around the glass has worn off. Please see last 2 pictures ... morefor paint and scratch issues. It was hard to pick up the worn gilt, but please examine photos carefully. FABULOUS HUGE ANTIQUE FRENCH MOULD BLOWN GREEN GLASS PICKLE JAR 11½" TALL
FATIGUED FRENCH FINDS fatiguedfrenchfinds This is a superb antique French 19 th century large green glass mold blown pickle jar. It is very large at 29cms or 11½” tall! The top diameter is 11cms or just over 4¼” The base diameter is 13.5cms or 5¼” It weighs 1.600kgs. The glass is fabulous and full of small and larger bubbles. The jar has raised ridges horizontally at the base and near the top. In addition. There are faint vertical ridges on part of the jar, with one part being free of vertical ridges, possibly in order to place a label on the smooth surface. There is what looks like a large crack in one corner. But this is not a crack, it is a raised ridge on the inside of the jar only. There are also naturally occurring black marks in the glass, rather as if a foreign body has entered the glass when heated? There are some ... morefaint white milky marks on the inside of the jar that have been created by some liquid being left in it for a long time– these may well remove but I cannot guarantee it. It is in great condition but does have some very light chips to the very edge of the neck– nothing that spoils it. This is a really exceptional and stunning antique French jar. Unfortunately, the metal top of the lid as well as the metal wrap around the glass has some rust/patina. I am not sure if it can be cleaned up further or not. Inside of the jar needs cleaning. Measures approximately 5 1/4" tall not including the lid. 5" total diameter at top rim. Handle extends above the rim 4 3/8" Any flaws that I notice will be mentioned in this listing.

Onyl issue ... moreif you want to have an issue is there are a few minute scratches on the base, minimal at best.Silver plated collar, lid and swing am handle have an elaborate lattice and acanthus or rhubarb leave design. I do not see a maker's impression mark anywhere and it could very well be on the underside of the collar hidden from view. Silver is very heavy and from the bit of surface wear looks to be copper based. I have not cleaned this- I am selling it as it was kept in the estate home- au natural. This is a quality piece, looks like a Thomas Webb or Stevens& Williams type of item. No markings so kind of limits the research. 6" to collar. 10" to top of swing arm. Beautiful large Wide-Mouth Green Glass Jar. About same size as a Gallon of Paint. No chips. Cracks, or scratches. Don't know anything about it, my husband thinks it's hand blown because of the off-center circle on bottom and it doesn't have any seams-but he is not a Glass Expert! Antique Ceramic Biscuit Cracker Jar Silverplate Lid Pale Green Brown Pink Floral Pretty antique biscuit barrel or cracker jar. Background is light mint green. Brown trim at top. Decorated with pink flowers. Flowers have yellow and lilac accents. The actual green coloring is a little darker than it appears in photos- dusty/muddy tone. Silverplate lid. Collar and handle. Markings under lid are"A1" EPNS" and"764" Maker and exact age unknown. The A1 may be a British quality marking. Hand numbered 8301 on bottom. Lid has decorative engraved design. From local estate collection. I did not try to polish the silverplate- it currently has vintage patina. Possible plating loss on collar- has a gold tone on one side. Stands 5 5/8" tall to top of collar rim. 8 3/8" when handle raised. No chips or cracks. Very fine all-over ... moreglaze crazing- darkened inside jar. There is a little wear to thin gold band near bottom. I have taken several photos and these provide additional description. U.S. addresses. Ships UPS Ground. VINTAGE Antique Turner Glass Company Pickle Jar Rope Braid Gallon 10.25" Green
Neat antique 4-quart/gallon pickle jar with embossed braiding/roping in four areas around its circumference. Made by Turner Brothers Glass Company sometime between 1905 and 1930. Patent publication was Feb 26. 1929. The bottom glass is marked“ 800” at the top. Then"Design Patented 77822" then the number“5” underneath that. Jar measures about 10.25” tall by 6.25” Glass has green tint. The jar itself is in very good condition except for a small black scuff mark and a few scratches on the exterior of the glass. Lid is aged and slightly rusted as seen in the photos. I tried to take a close-up the best I could to show the little white markings on the glass. Other than that. No chips, cracks, stains or previous repairs to report. Really nice piece for the age and I can only hope to look this good at that age. LOL! Shipping weight is 5 ... morelb.
