Hi. I have this really nice 4 piece stacking Apothecary candy wedding jar for sale. I bought it at an estate sale in Muncie, Indiana. I'm sure Indiana Glass made it. They were used to display candy on drug store counters. There are 4 pieces in this set. One round piece has a small chip on the inside lip as shown in picture. It is small and one piece has a rough spot on bottom edge. It stands approx. 11 1/2 inches. If not happy with jar you can return and I will pay postage. It is a beautiful jar set. Here is a Vintage Blue Glass Ginger Jar or Apothecary Style Jar or Wedding Candy Buffet type jar. This jar has panels in it and it larger at the top tapering in at the bottom. This measures approximately 9 1/2" tall and 5 3/8" diameter at the top. This is in good clean used condition with no chips or cracks to the jar. However the lid does has a couple of chips on the inside rim of the lid and also some small fleabites around the rim but none of this shows since it is on the inside rim. Wedding Candy Buffet Glass Apothecary Jars & Utensils Set Scoops Tongs
This is a collection of vintage glass apothecary jars and utensils that can be used for a wedding/party candy buffet. There are 7 jars with lids and 5 scoops an 2 tongs. The utensils are clear plastic and have been hand decorated. I have used ivory satin ribbon around the handles with gold. Silver, and iridescent sequins and then finished them off with gold and silver iridescent curling ribbon. Each jar has a utensil that is appropriate for the size of the jar. These jars are vintage pieces and may have a mark here or there but there is nothing that can be seen while they are on display. I did find a small knick on the rim of the lid of the largest jar. Large Vintage? Clear Glass Apothecary Type Jar - Drugstore Candy Wedding Buffet
This large jar is in excellent condition and has been hand washed. There are no chips. Nicks, cracks, breaks, repairs, scratches, stains, or cloudiness. Nice clear clarity. It is approximately 12" tall with the lid on and measures approximately 4.75" in diameter. Embossed on the jars bottom is Brody Company and the lid has a# 37. It features a smaller base that gradually tapers larger towards the top. It also has an acorn shape lid with a center open hole on the knob that I assume was manufactured like this originally& with no finial as there is no breakage or chipping. A great art deco glass jar to accent your parties or home decor. Spheres in photo one are NOT included. Payment is due within 3 days from the auctions close day.
