Loetz Cracker Jar. Mom and dad collected antiques for over 40 years. Dad often would make a card on some of their more special items, the following is from his writeup: Loetz cracker jar. 5" diameter by 6 1/2" high to top of lid. Silver carrying bale has unique type hinge arm that lifts lid when bale is tipped back. Bale is mounted to rim. All silver plate. Jar is pastel blue/green with strong iridescence and dark-purple all-over threading. This an unusual piece with truly beautiful glass. The color. Although delicate, is much stronger than is shown in pictures, perhaps because of lighting. The contrast between threading and iridescent glass is more subdued. Condition: Very nice condition. Antique Green Victorian Biscuit Jar Art Glass metal lid (not silver) w handle
This is a very beautiful victorian jar. It measures about 6" and 8 1/4" with the lid. I didn't count the handle in the measurements. The diameter is about 4" It is in very great condition as you can see on pictures with no chips. No cracks. There are some imperfections like bubbles in the glass that you can feel with your fingers inside the jar(but not outside) that added to its charm. The color is green, quite enough dark, not clear. I'm not an expert in anything and don't know the kind of glass it is made but it's very very nice. The lid and the handle are in metal. It is very decorative. I don't think it is silver plated. This is an antique biscuit jar that I purchased from a local estate. It is 6 3/4" tall and 4 3/4" wide. The lid is maked sterling and I believe it has a Gorham hallmark. VINTAGE 1970'S REPRO 3 FACES GLASS BISCUIT JAR METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART
I love this jar! The three faces top handle is great! It was made for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the 70's. It can be used for biscuits. Tobacco humidor, candy or whatever you want to use it for. It is a real conversation piece and beautiful as well! It measures about 9 1/2" tall(including the face handle) and about 5" diameter. There are no chips or cracks. It is signed on the bottom and the inside lid MMA.

Rare Vintage Art Glass 1950s Fenton Blue Daisy & Fern Cracker Jar Biscuit Barrel
This listing is for a rare Vintage LG Wright/ Fenton Biscuit Barrel. It measures about 6.5" tall to the top of the finial. And it is 7.5" tall to the top of the handle while the handle is up. It does have patina to the silver-plated parts but the glass is in very nice condition. It is a very rare piece.

Up for the auction is a museum quality antique Mount Washington/ Pairpoint art glass covered bowl or biscuit jar in a Crown Milano pattern. It has ribbed glass body with a metal scalloped lip. Holding wrought delicate handle. And a lid with a molded crab(pics. 1-7) The glass body has a fine hand painted and gilded floral design of the branches and applied red and blue glass berries(pics. 8-10) Stamped on the cover"MW" for Mount Washington and numbered as shown on pic. 11. Antique Mt. Washington Art Glass Biscuit Jar - Diamond Quilted Pattern -1880's
Up for grabs is this absolutely gorgeous antique biscuit jar. NOTE DAMAGE: Before reading on. I want to mention the damage to this jar. Along the bottom of the jar, the outer layer of glass is chipped off along the edge of the bottom of the jar. I believe this happened when the jar was pushed against wall or something. Unfortunately for us, this jar would be worth about $800.00 if it weren't damaged, but, we still believe someone would love to have it. However, it truly is the prettiest color I've seen in a long time. If you're able to get past the damage, and turn the jar so that the damage is facing to the back, you'll enjoy looking at this beauty everyday. Otherwise, information on the jar. Decorated on both sides with hand painted enamel flowers. Flowers are white/yellow and purple. Raised yellow enamel detailing. Pretty design on collar. Handle is topped with figural angels or mermaids- I do not find any markings on silverplate or bottom of jar. This was purchased at local estate sale. When I got it home. I found two label tape strips inside- they say Peach Blow and $850.00. I do not know if this is considered Peach Blow, shaded or cased glass. I do not know maker- Bohemian, North American(New England Glass Co. English or other. Shiny finish. Stands 5 5/8" tall to top of collar rim. Just under 10" tall when handle raised.
