2 Antique Rowntrees Gums~Art Nouveau Glass Candy Store Counter Jars & Lids!
I could have sold these early 1900's Candy Store Counter display jars seperate. But the have been together for so long I'am listing them in one sale with no reserve! Each hand blown glass jar measures 5 1/2" base dia x 12" total ht including the lid. The tin lids are embossed with a great looking Art Nouveau/ Art Deco design and the sides are punched with the name"Rowntrees Gums" on the front& back side. Since the display jars are hand blown one jar weighs 2.1 lbs and the other one is over a pound heavier weighing 3.3 lbs. Both are still in ex condition however one jar has two nicks on the inside edge of the top rim( see last two pics) Both nicks are well concealed when the lid is firmly in place.

VINTAGE Clear Glass 9 Apothecary Jars for weddings or candy
Vintage glass apothecary jars for weddings. Buffet, party, or candy. Nine jars in several diff erent sizes and shapes. All jars are in excellent condition. If you look at the pictures: picture 2: round jar on left is 2 1/2 in wide by 5 1/2 in high: next clear round is 2 3/4 in wide by 5 in high; the brown jar is 3 1/2 in wide by 4 1/2 in high and has a flower embedded in the glass cover picture 3 the larger square jars are 4 in wide by 5 in high. One has a flower and stem embedded on the top of the cover. The smaller square jar is 3 in wide by 4 in high picture 4 jar on left: is 4 in wide by 5 in high. Has a flower embedded on the jar cover; The middle one has a plastic cover it is 4 in wide by 3 in high; the one on the right is 4 in wide by 5 or 6 in high

Antique Pair Blown Glass Apothecary Drug Store Candy Jars Applied Bands NICE!
Here is a pair of covered glass jars. Each with two applied glass bands, rough pontil marks, and ridge detail on the lids under the finial. They are a bit over 12" tall and the opening is 5 1/2" in diameter. One base is perfect, the other has some rim chips. The joining seam where the glass band ends meet are visible that is not damage. Both lids have chips on the inner rim edge that is inserted into the base and some rough areas along the outer edge of the lid but not visible chips. Will be shipped double boxed. BUY. SELL. BELIEVE.
