LARGE DAKOTA GLASS PEDESTAL APOTHECARY JAR WITH LID - 14 1/4" H
We are pleased to offer a vintage Dakota glass jar with a round bulbous body on a pedestal. This is the large hard to find size standing 14 1/4" H. We could find no flaws in the glass on any part of this jar including the lid and base. The glass is clear and bright and shows no cloudiness. The rim of the lid and jar are not ground but clear glass. This item is quite heavy and will be double boxed for safe arrival. We do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii or internationally.

Hello, We have up for auction a vintage square Dakota glass apothecary jar. It stands 9 1/4" H and each of the four glass panels measures 4 3/4" W. It has a ground glass rim on the lid. There is a 1/2" chip in the ground part of the lid. There is also some faint sign of wear to the glass in each of the four corners of the bottom of the jar on the outside. You have to look for it. The glass is clear and shows no cloudiness or staining. This is very heavy. We have estimated shipping. Up for auction is a vintage glass candy or drugstore jar with aluminum lid. It's 11.25' tall and also has a wonderful presence. This one has a lightweight metal lid that sits atop the jar. Like my other jar. It's in excellent condition with just a few small signs of stress by the lid edge, but no pieces missing and otherwise no breaks or chips. I will be removing the candy(which as been in there for years) and carefully washing the jar and lid. Please note: I cannot be 100% sure that this is the lid that came with the jar. Though I am 90% sure. The lid is clearly vintage, fits just fine, and it's the lid that came with it when I bought it over 20 years ago.
