VINTAGE BRASS WALL SHELF RACK TOWEL MAGAZINE PLATE DISPLAY CASE VERSATILE nifty
Here for your pleasure is a nifty vintage brass wall stand/rack which can fulfill many varied and functional purposes. It measures 34" high by 12.75" wide at the base and 8" wide at the top. Its load-bearing capabilities are probably most related to the wall attachment. It can stand on its own cute feet. But is not free-standing. The shelves fold and are attached to the frame with ball-head brass screws. As with any vintage item, it is not perfect. The brass has been highlighted, but not polished. Antique Wood Magazine Rack Stand - Spindals
Offered we have a old Antique Wood/ Wooden Magazine Stand Rack. I'm not real good with wood types so I'm unsure exactly what type of wood it may be but if I had to guess maybe mahogany. It appears all hand made and has alot of spindal working on legs. Sides and center divider with a nicely curved handle. It has a very nice design and the wood is in good shape with no splits or cracks to spindals. Its finish however shows wear from its old age and use primairly on its inner bottom board and legs, theres wear spots and the normal scuffs, dings and scratches. The last 2 photos show the main worn areas. I have left it as found with its aged patina but if desired it could be refinished back to new or painted but I like its original Old Primitve style look which give all the charactor. This listing is for a antique brass two section magazine rack/holder. Double compartments. One for magazines and the other for newspapers. It is approximately 12 3/4" tall. 15" wide and 7" across. The age and origin is unknown. This is an estate find. It sits on two wooded feet. Has a sturdy brass handle. Nice for use, collection or display. Their is some minor things that happen to anything of this age. I have tried to show all in the pictures. In the upper right hand corner it is bent down but could be bent back out, one small nail is missing, some discoloration, and one of the wooden feet is chipped. UP FOR AUCTION IS A BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE 1940's DELUXE 4 COMPARTMENT MAHOGANY MAGAZINE RACK/ BUTLER. This is a big deluxe one which stands 22 inches tall top to bottom x 18 1/4 long 10 7/8 inches wide and weighs almost 7 1/2 pounds. Structurally sound and in very good vintage condition with only a nick or scratch here or there. Could use a good cleaning. This great piece used to belong to my grandmother who died back in 1966 and all her possessions were packed away in my parents garage not seeing the light of day for 48 years. Antique American Oak Pressed Wood Victorian Magazine Wall Rack
This magazine rack measures approximately 17" wide by 18" in height(including knobs) When hung. Reading material opening is about 1.5" It is in original condition, and I can see no scratches on the wood. The press-backed wood designs are still very sharp. The mirror does have some streaking and spots, not surprising for its age. All in all, I think it is in very good condition. I respond to all inquiries promptly, should you have a question. This is stamped"Made in England" on the bottom(last picture) Age unknown. The brass sheet metal is stamped or sculpted with a scene of a couple dancing. Man playing an instrument and some people drinking. Neat. Measures about 14 1/3" long x 5 3/4" deep x 9 1/2" tall in front and 11" tall in back. 2 sections with center handle. SOLID Mahogany Canterbury Magazine Music Rack W/ One Drawer & Brass Capped c1945
Up for sale is a beautiful solid mahogany Georgian style Canterbury or magazine/music rack dated 12/01/1945. The Canterbury features five arced dividers with the middle center divider having a handle. The stand has turned legs with ball style finial tops that culminate in brass capped feet and brass casters. The Canterbury has one drawer with two pulls and is quality dovetailed and features the Genuine Solid Mahogany label from the Mahogany Association. The Canterbury measures a total of 19" wide by 13" deep and stands 19 1/4" tall to the top of the posts and 16 1/2" tall in the center and is in excellent condition for its age with normal minor wear commensurate with age.
