It has a simulated metal cap on the front. It is nice and straight. The only thing I see wrong with it is that the back of the side pieces has a support brace missing on the left hand bracket, but other than that it is nice. We will detail out the cracked panel and make sure it is tight and sturdy prior to shipping. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 17 inches deep on the base, 21 inches high to the marble, and 98 inches high to the top. If you have 8 foot ceilings, you can remove the top crest to fit your space.

There are some light surface scratches on the finish, but this is normal wear for a piece that most likely dates to the 1910’s or early ‘20s. The stand has the original hardware coat hooks on it. It has an rectangular beveled mirror at the top center, and one small compartment, or glove box, with a hinged lid between the side braces that are meant to hold umbrellas. The piece has some lightly carved detail on it, as well as a lovely delicate cut-out pattern. There is some light damage at the front of one of the side rails, as well as a bit more wear to the finish on the front legs.

This is an Antique Hall Tree Umbrella Stand with beveled Mirror and Brass Fixtures. It is a gorgeous piece and in great vintage condition just in need of a good cleaning and polishing of the wood to bring back its luster. It has(4) Brass fixtures for the hats or coats and also railings for the umbrellas. One of the hat fixture is missing one of screws. It appears to be very old but I'm not sure when it was made and there are no makers marks or labels. I have only found one hall tree anywhere like this on the internet. It was made by Clipper Shaft Co but it is different than this one, especially the inside parts. This has dark stained wood. But not sure exactly what wood. Cast Brass hooks and metal workings inside. Wear and patina on the wood surfaces including some white spots on the base feet. It's not in bad shape but would be more beautiful refurbished. It is missing a finial on the top. Fully functional, sturdy, beautiful period piece. Pole width: 3" Depth: 2 5/8" height: 71.5" Extends ... moreto a 36" across hanging bar for coats. Stands alone looking like a traditional coat tree. You have two hooks that you undo and press down on the piece of flat metal holding the bases together. Then just start pulling apart while raising the top bar, the bottom extends and locks into place. You slide the top bar up past the"clip" that springs back and then keeps the bar from falling. Leans a little, so maybe the spring metal piece had more to it than what's there now-but it works. Now you have a coat rack for all your guests! Vintage 1930's Wood Hall Tree Coat Stand in Excellent condition. Rock Solid with NO damage. Just a few light scuffs from being in the SAME SPOT for over 3/4 of a CENTURY! Made of SOLID OLD GROWTH White Pine, is has beautiful patterns in the grain; one side shows like it is Maple. The finish is ORIGINAL and untouched! There is some wear to the brass plating on the hooks but they can easily be replated or left to show its age. Offered for sale is this vintage Black Forest bear& cubs hall tree. It measure 80" x 19"W x 16-1/2" The hall tree is in excellent condition except with a few minor aged cracks. The hall tree has been professional restored to fix the old branch joints. After half century the wood joints do not fit perfectly. Now all these joints have been repaired. I can take them down for shipping safely and assemble them firmly. The joints now are as good as new. The piece has no paint loss. It is a very beautiful piece. The hall tree is very heavy. I will ship them in 2 cartons. No marks and the age unknown. But I will guess 50 years or more. It has 2 cubs playing at tree top.

Very unique umbrella stand/ hat rack. Purchased from an estate sale- the only thing I know is the estate belonged to a WWII War Bride from France. Most of her furniture was from France and Germany. This particular piece does not have a makers mark. But it is obviously very old. It does have wear, a couple of small cracks and is slightly loose. The bottom is iron and the removable tray is also handmade. I tried to show this in one of the pictures- you can see where the bottom edges have been folded over when it was made. This stands 67 inches tall, has 6 pegs and 4 legs at base. The base is 21 inches diameter. This has a bubble type design on the top and on the 4 legs with a treaded type design near the pegs. Very nice grain in the wood. There is a ding under one peg and possible one replacement peg. These things are really hard to detect but we did want to point them out. In addition, these hooks are all Double Hooks, with a smaller hook on the bottom, and the longer hook on the top, see picts. Enough hooks to hang 12 items, 2 items on each of 6 hooks, WOW! The rack has a wooden bar on the top and bottom connected by thin support bars. And the swivel hooks, see picts. Two of the connecting thin support bars extend above the top of the wooden frame, and are bent into hanging rings, so that this piece can be hung on your wall, see picts. The wood and the hooks have what appears to be the original paint, a deep brown color. The metal hooks have some original paint, but much has worn of from use over the years, see picts. Cleveland OH Tag Here's a great old oak hall tree or coat rack manufactured by the R.W. Van Kirk Company of Cleveland. Ohio. Doing research I found evidence that this company existed between 1901- 1929. It stands 68" tall with a 1.625" square shaft and 21" long crossing stand. There is a large 6" tall copper over brass double hook on each side of the shaft. The base is connected to the shaft with a solid steel hex screw. The original manufacturer's tag is still attached to one of the base crosspieces. To ship this I will remove the hooks and base from the shaft and pack them together. I have a barn find from my great grandmothers estate. This is a amazing beautiful piece. It is a umbrella stand that has mirror and is very unique. The wood is a hard wood and darker color. There is a hook missing. The mirror needs polishing. There is a custom piece of wood to cover drawer. The drawer needs to be sanded inside it will not open. I believe there used to be marble on top of drawer. This is in great overall condition fot its age. I am not sure of age however. Will polish up great and clean. Look at pictures.
