Quarter-Sawn Oak Antique Vintage Plant Stand Pedestal This wonderful oak plant stand. Which is 35 ¾” tall, can be used to highlight a favorite plant or art piece. It’s quarter-sawn oak(also called tiger oak! golden in color and is in excellent condition. We believe it was manufactured in the early 1920s since a screw/nail head is visible underneath. The top. Which measures 14” is an octagon shape(8-sided) with an apron below. This well-built plant stand/pedestal rests on four sturdy curved feet and measures 15” in diameter at the base. We purchased this quality piece in the early 1980s and used it for many years in our front hall.

On either side of the seat are umbrella or stick holders with tin trays at the bottom. The hall tree has four standard solid brass hooks. Giving the hall tree a very Jacobean look are some small geometric wood decorations throughout. The seat lifts up to reveal a small storage space below. Antique Silver Art Deco Cast Iron Stand with Etched Glass Top: c. 1925-1950
This stand/table is in the Art Deco design and is probably from about 1925-1950. It is cast iron painted in a good condition silver color paint. It is in the original found condition with no noted repairs. Breaks or missing parts. The paint and stand is in very good condition with wear appropriate and consistent with the age and use. The glass is in fine condition also with no known cracks, chips or damage. It has a gold painted, etched, floral design with a lot of the original paint present(please see picture 7) There is a nice Art Deco designed finial on the stretcher portion between the designed legs. Very very nice vintage table here people. Basically in mint condition. B eautiful Indian Carved wood Table. It is not a small plant stand like ones that are often listed on ebay as tables. It measures 19" tall and the diameter of the top is 18" It is in great clean condition as can be seen in the pictures. There may some minor scratches or other fluctuation in color do to age but I see nothing of significance. I'm uncertain about the type of wood but it is an exotic Asian hardwood. J2559A. This is a rare wonderful shaving stand. It has a rectangular adjustable beveled mirror and original hardware- circa 1905. The oak is solid quarter sawn white oak(typical for the period) that has great grain. It has been professionally refinished and restored to provide many additional years of service. It has been refinished in a warm medium oak finish. Approx. size is 65 inches tall(top of mirror) 12 inches deep and 16 inches wide. It had a top drawer as well as a small cabinet. Antique Majolica Green Glazed Cathedral Window Art Pottery #61 Umbrella Stand
Up for auction is this fantastic umbrella stand. It is made of a pottery with a majolica green glaze on top. The only marking is the number 61 on the bottom. I am not sure it was made by Weller. Roseville, McCoy or who. The piece is done in a greens and has a cathedral window design in the middle. The umbrella stand measures 23" tall and is about 10" in diameter. It is in great condition with the only damage that I can see being a small chip on the inside top of the stand(see picture) This is a gorgeous piece that should not be overlooked. These large pieces do not come to market that often and when they do they are usually pretty damaged. Antique Ebonized or Ebony Finish Plant Stand Pedestal
Item: Up for auction is this fully restored Antique Ebony Finished Plant Stand. This is not a painted item. But rather an ebonized finish. The top and base of the stand measure 14 inches across, and it stands 36 inches tall. The stand is very elegant, has has very intricate detailed trunings. The stand is very well constructed. The top and base attach to the column via a threaded dowel shown in photo#11. There are some minor imperfection in the stand. Photo#5 shows a dent in the side of the column. Photo#8 shows a small dent in the top as well as a slight separation in the top. These imperfections are very minor and do not pose any structural or functional problems for the plant stand. The terms restored and refinished are not meant to convey perfection. While the restoration process removes or minimizes imperfections, subtle signs of its ... moreage and use remain. Overall, this item is in excellent condition and should provide many years of use and beauty. Pricing: I do not use reserve pricing. Offered for sale is an antique Olivewood/ Leather Music Stand manufactured by Brandt Furniture Co. of Hagerstown. Maryland. This vintage stand was used for many years in my home recording studio here in the Boston area. Frankly not so much as a music stand, but as a wonderful decorative"prop" to display some vintage music sheets that I often kept on it just for fun. The stand is in good antique condition. It is stamped and labeled on the face of its base with the manufacturer's label. The surface shows light scratches and blemishes to be expected of an item of its age. The plate of the stand is covered with real leather painted with gold paint or gold leaf, all-original from the manufacturer. While both the angular and height adjustments of the stand work perfectly well, it appears that the back brace holding the plate of the ... morestand used to have"2 halves" rather than the single brace presently on it(see the 6th photo) but that's the way I've always had it and used it, and it does not affect its functionality at all. Antique plant stand. May be cast bronze or cast iron. And is gilded in gold. Quite heavy. And bolted together with(some) non-original hardware- screws, etc. In great shape. And probably dates between the 1890's and early 1900's. 8" by 8" marble surface on the top. And a smaller marble piece set at a 45 degree angle to the top, as the bottom shelf. 15" by 15" at its widest point on the legs. and 31" high. Great original condition, with no bends, fractures and most of the original finish looks great, though there is certainly some patina from a century of ownership. Would look beautiful with a fern or some other type of potted plant on top. Marble is original from what I can tell. But of course it would be extremely easy to replace with new pieces, if desired. There are 6 detachable tole ivy leaf sections which come it two sizes. The three top sections are longer and attach to the pedestal just under the recessed rim of the planter. There are three shorter sections which attach to hooks that are situated lower on the pedestal legs. The detailing is incredible with a two sided tole flower that rests on either side of the arms and a large acanthus"tassle" on the lower section of the body. The base is plaster/chalkware which has been finished in an aged bronze color. The tole color is bright gold mixed with antique ... moregold and bronze. The circular top rim houses a wooden, slat basket with wooden canes that support and brace the slats. An"X" criss cross tie in between each slat connects the slats together. This is a substantial and weighty plant stand. There are no manufacturer's marks, but the quality is quite nice and the design is FANTASTIC! The piece appears to be from the 1930s. The plant stand measures 43" tall. The top diameter is 20" The recessed basket rim section is 14" in diameter and the base is 10.5" in diameter. Because of the fragility of the stand.
