Not seen once s tanding. Same leg has hole from same repair seen in picture 7. All 4 l egs wobble some but tree very sturdy/ strong once s tand ing in place. Looks like Oak wood but not 100% sure. Here's a great old coat rack that recently came out of a local rural Nebraska estate. It has 4 ornate cast iron hooks mounted on an oak board and is in excellent original condition. The measurements are about 24" long by 3 1/2" wide on the board. The hooks are 6" tall. No cracks or breaks. This style of rack was popular in train depots. Offices, stores etc. This is the type that does not have the added wire for a hat rack. Add it to your decor and use it!

Original antique Railroad Pullman Car Coat& Hat wall hanging rack dating from the early 1900's. Oak wood back is 30-3/4" wide x 3-5/8" high x 1/2" thick. T here is a chip on the back lower right corner(see photo) that could be easily patched. Otherwise the wood is nice and solid with two holes in the back from it's original hanging. Five cast iron double hooks with detailed scroll design extend 2-1/8" from the base on the top and 1-1/4" from the base on the bottom. All the hooks are nice. Solid and straight. Very little lite corrosion spots. The top rack extends out about 6" Very good previously used condition.

It is on casters and there is a nice leaf pattern on the legs. It is solid and quite heavy. But does come apart in two pieces. A few coat hooks are missing. This would make a great coatrack for a restaurant or a display piece for a store. It would also be a great way to display a hat collection if you had the room in your home. Really worth a look!
