The rest appears to be all original finish, and worn areas can be seen in the finish especially on the top. This stand has 4'sections' in it. There is a bit of paint residue to the underside which is curious, as the piece appears to have its original finish. There are some wood separations along the joints. The joints have original slats. It is in excellent condition for it's age with little wear to the finish and no breaks or repairs. It does have some light scuffs and scratches but nothing you would not expect for a piece this age. It is made of Oak with it's original Copper tray in the bottom of the stand. The stand is in good condition with some wear from age. Use and handling. There is a little wiggle in the stand and it could use some glue in the joints. The original copper pan in the bottom has some dents and wear from a century of use. For sale an Antique Tiger Oak Hall Tree w/ Bench Storage. Round Beveled Mirror, 4 double Copper Hooks, and umbrella Stand. Dates to the early 1900's, I would say about the 1920's. Made of beautiful sturdy tiger oak. Measures 75 inches tall, 26 inches across the widest part of the mirror. The mirror itself is 19 1/2 inches in diameter. The bench is 18 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches across. The bench raises up to reveal a storage area. Old Mission Style Hall Tree/ Coat Tree/ Umbrella Stand Oak Up for auction is a lovely old hall tree. The wood is oak. It has 2 umbrella holders. 6 hooks, one enclosed cabinet, and a shelf. I am not sure if the backboard(thinner) wood is oak. The dimensions are: 70" tall 27" wide 11" deep 7" wide umbrella opening. 6" wide at the bottom. The oak framework pieces for the umbrella section are 1 1/4" wide on top, and 2 1/4" wide at the bottom. The short shelf is 11" long x 3" deep Enclosed cabinet is 25" tall x 10" wide x 10" deep Small head nails used throughout. Please note: I do not think that the hooks are original to the piece. And multiple holes have been drilled over the years. The diamond shaped area was for a mirror, but I do not have the mirror. There are 8 original holes to ... morehold the mirror. There are 5 additional holes drilled into the backboard area that are not original. The enclosed cabinet has one shelf but only has only one support piece so the shelf is not installed. Some wear and tear on the bottom of the legs. At the curved top of the unit(a separate piece) that is held in by a groove, there is a bit of damage to the wood. Only a few deep scratches. For sale is an antique stick/umbrella stand. Which I believe is oak and English-made. The stand has bobbin-turned legs and hand carving on the top and bottom rails. There is a brass handle on the top center rail, with its original dark patina. The drip pan appears to be made of galvanized metal- I don't know if that is the original drip pan. SOLID OAK C1910 MASSIVE ANTIQUE HALL TREE UMBRELLA COAT RACK STAND MARBLE MIRROR
I will ship anywhere in the world! This massive solid oak hall tree is fabulous! Most recently found at a local Charleston estate sale. This English hall tree has it all! The original huge beveled mirror is in excellent condition.the turned posts which are the basis for the mirror frame and the entire top of the piece. The umbrella pans are original and instead of being"hole" when one pulls these out.there are actually finished specific areas for the pans. Pretty neat. Secondary wd appears to be all oak and the hardware is all original except for two replaced screws. This stand has wonderful eye appeal to it with the pretty Turned Post Legs and beveled dividers on the top. This stand is well made out of Solid Oak. It even has it's"drip pan" with it. It's in overall good condition for it's age and travels and has very nice eye appeal and is ready to set out and use and enjoy. It's 18 1/4" X 10 1/2" and about 28" tall overall. For your consideration we are offering this solid oak antique Mission umbrella stand circa early 1900s. Overall this piece measures in as at 22"L x 13"D x 26"H. There are spaces for 24 umbrellas. Condition is as follows/ shown: The stand is solid and void of looseness/ wobble. The piece does need restoration, at some point refinishing was begun but not completed. There is one tight line(non structural, please view pics) otherwise the stand is void of issues. The drip pan has surface rust as shown. A great piece with real potential given some TLC. This beautiful hall tree has been in one family for the last 30 years. At 24" wide. And 74" tall, it is narrow and perfect for just the right spot. Classic Mission style, or Stickley"like" but has no markings or manufacturer information. The mirror is in great condition, there is a cubby with hinged lid for keys, shoehorns, hatpins, etc. Originally there were six had hooks, but the current owner preferred using just four.
