For your consideration is this Very Nice Antique Oak Entry Hall Tree. I have been told it dates back to the late 1800s. But i am not sure, could be the early 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern ... moreabove the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. There are 6 of the original coat hooks and the beveled mirror has NOT been resilvered. The hall tree is from the Arts& Crafts era. Early 1900s. in good original condition. The base does not have the lift up seat. The drip pan is not original, but works very well. The beveled mirror needs to be resilverd or replaced($45) Stands about 80 inches tall AND is 21 inches wide, not counting the umbrella holder. Antique Oak Hall Tree w. Beveled Mirror, circa 1900
This is a very unusual hall tree. I have never seen one quite like it. There are flat grooved columns on each side with hooks at top, they are connected to back with a shelf. Applied carving adorns the crest with hook on each side. Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. Antique Oak Hall Tree Blue Woflhound Borzoi Tile Mirror Glove Box Drip Pans
Late aesthetic style oak hall tree. Measures 74" tall. 30" wide, 12" deep. Beveled mirror measures about 7"x10" Embellished with two blue ceramic tiles featuring a dog's head, perhaps a wolfhound. These are quite lovely, and in excellent condition. Unfortunately their backs are securely covered with wood, so unable to determine markings, if any. Measure about 7.5" square. Overall in very good condition, sturdy and firm. May have been stained with a darker stain at one time, for there are some nicks and missing bits on a few of the spindles, and the wood does not show as raw. There are some flaws. There is a crack in the bottom of the glove box; this does not show of course. The bottom shelf holding the drip pans has been replaced, and not with oak, but with something that appears to be walnut. It has been ... morestained to match, and is not terribly obtrusive, but it definitely is not original. The drip pans themselves each have a hole or two in them, could be repaired of course. Antique solid oak hall tree. Cowboy set. Has hinged adjustable mirror 18-3/4" long by 13" wide with arched top. Above mirror on each side are shelves to hold candles or oil/kerosene lamps. Under the shelves are rotating 3-hook hangers for ties, and about a foot down from this on both outside walls are hangers for belts. Also on both sides of the mirror and below the mirror are 3 large double curved hangers for hats or clothes. Has a hinged seat with storage underneath. Has towel bar on both sides. Made of beautiful sturdy tiger oak. Measures 75 inches tall, 26 inches across the widest part of the mirror. The mirror itself is 19 1/2 inches in diameter. The bench is 18 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches across. The bench raises up to reveal a storage area. Mirror is beveled, has a few dark spots behind it(shown in photos) Of course, no antique is perfect, that's what gives it character! But this piece is in excellent condition overall. Turn Of The Century Mission Style Oak/Chestnut Wood? Coat Rack(SEE ALL 12-PHOTOS) Nice overall condition with no structural issues. A nicely age appearance with no cracks. Chips or gouges. NOTE: One of the steel hooks looks to have been replaced at some point in the past(SEE PHOTOS#7 and#8) The hook is exactly the same as the other three. But the"ware/patina" is not at the point of the other hooks. Other than that, there's just your typical 100 years of"general ware" I can not tell for certain what wood is used. I believe it's either oak or chestnut. Measures 70" tall overall. The post is 2-1/2" x 2-1/4" and the base(leg width) measures 23-1/2" across. The steel hooks measure 6" long and stick out 3-5/8 inches. Unit weight: 14 lbs. 5 ozs.

The oak top and throughout the piece has lovely carved detailing. There is one small piece missing(see picture) There is also some splintering around bench due to age of piece. One small repair on the top of bench. 2"x2" which was done before we bought it. I made a cushion for the top of the bench so we never minded it. Too small to notice. Very nice grain in the wood. There is a ding under one peg and possible one replacement peg. These things are really hard to detect but we did want to point them out.
