It has an rectangular beveled mirror at the top center, and one small compartment, or glove box, with a hinged lid between the side braces that are meant to hold umbrellas. The piece has some lightly carved detail on it, as well as a lovely delicate cut-out pattern. This stands 79 inches high and is 31 inches across at the widest arms. Beautiful details as shown in photos topped by a bounty of fruit and detailed with lions and fantastic scrolling. With a bit of tlc this would make a magnificent entry way piece. This can be un bolted into. 3 pieces for transport plus the drip pan makes 4. Very heavy piece. Made of beautiful sturdy tiger oak. Measures 75 inches tall, 26 inches across the widest part of the mirror. The mirror itself is 19 1/2 inches in diameter. The bench is 18 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches across. The bench raises up to reveal a storage area. Mirror is beveled, has a few dark spots behind it(shown in photos) Of course, no antique is perfect, that's what gives it character! But this piece is in excellent condition overall. Very unique umbrella stand/ hat rack. Purchased from an estate sale- the only thing I know is the estate belonged to a WWII War Bride from France. Most of her furniture was from France and Germany. This particular piece does not have a makers mark. But it is obviously very old. It does have wear, a couple of small cracks and is slightly loose. The bottom is iron and the removable tray is also handmade. I tried to show this in one of the pictures- you can see where the bottom edges have been folded over when it was made. Old Mission Style Hall Tree/ Coat Tree/ Umbrella Stand Oak Up for auction is a lovely old hall tree. The wood is oak. It has 2 umbrella holders. 6 hooks, one enclosed cabinet, and a shelf. I am not sure if the backboard(thinner) wood is oak. The dimensions are: 70" tall 27" wide 11" deep 7" wide umbrella opening. 6" wide at the bottom. The oak framework pieces for the umbrella section are 1 1/4" wide on top, and 2 1/4" wide at the bottom. The short shelf is 11" long x 3" deep Enclosed cabinet is 25" tall x 10" wide x 10" deep Small head nails used throughout. Please note: I do not think that the hooks are original to the piece. And multiple holes have been drilled over the years. The diamond shaped area was for a mirror, but I do not have the mirror. There are 8 original holes to ... morehold the mirror. There are 5 additional holes drilled into the backboard area that are not original. The enclosed cabinet has one shelf but only has only one support piece so the shelf is not installed. Some wear and tear on the bottom of the legs. At the curved top of the unit(a separate piece) that is held in by a groove, there is a bit of damage to the wood. Only a few deep scratches. On the back of the unit. The letters M A W are written. I cannot find a manufacturers stamp. Please see photos for condition. I have described it best I can. And the unit is being sold as is. Get ready for winter with this brass coat rack. It's 68" tall in the center, the top of the arms are 70" tall. The tops are 18 1/2" across. The base is 23" X 23" Each foot has a screw adjuster for leveling. No dents or bent pieces, the brass shows its age but it's not as tarnished as others this old. I think most of the dark patina could be removed. One ball on the lower section is missing(see pix) and a few of the cap nuts have been replaced. For shipping it will be partially disassembled but it is very easy to put back together.

This beautiful hall tree has been in one family for the last 30 years. At 24" wide. And 74" tall, it is narrow and perfect for just the right spot. Classic Mission style, or Stickley"like" but has no markings or manufacturer information. The mirror is in great condition, there is a cubby with hinged lid for keys, shoehorns, hatpins, etc. Originally there were six had hooks, but the current owner preferred using just four. There are 4 double hooks on top and 4 single hooks under it. Umbrella and cane holder/ stand is on the bottom. For sale is antique hall tree that originally belonged to my great grandparents(late 1800's) Possibly older. The piece is in good original condition, and is one of many great antiques came with the 1880's Indiana Farm estate that we recently inherited. We would love to keep this great piece, but simple do not have the room for it, as we are in the process of doing some badly needed restoration on the farm house. I believe that it is made of Oak, but I am not 100% sure of that, as I am not an antique dealer, or even collector my self. The piece measures 80" tall x 39" wide x 16" deep. All measurements are at the widest point, and accurate within 1/2" I am listing this piece as local pickup only, but I am more then happy to help you make shipping arrangements, and get quotes. Antique HALL TREE mirror umbrella entry way holder stand wood
I have a barn find from my great grandmothers estate. This is a amazing beautiful piece. It is a umbrella stand that has mirror and is very unique. The wood is a hard wood and darker color. There is a hook missing. The mirror needs polishing. There is a custom piece of wood to cover drawer. The drawer needs to be sanded inside it will not open. I believe there used to be marble on top of drawer. This is in great overall condition fot its age. I am not sure of age however. Will polish up great and clean. Look at pictures.
