Vtg. Antique Primitive Oak wood Hall Tree Coat/ Hat rack stand. 4 Cast iron holders. 4 legs are tongue and groove. One l e g has chip/ wood missing seen in picture 11 on bottom. Not seen once s tanding. Same leg has hole from same repair seen in picture 7. All 4 l egs wobble some but tree very sturdy/ strong once s tand ing in place. Looks like Oak wood but not 100% sure. Heavy. Varnish is worn in ereas with some scuffs/ scratches. No rmal wear for antique piece. Beautiful piece! Measures approx. 67 3/4" tall. Each wood leg extends 9" from square pole. Early Vtg. Antique-Primitive Bent Wood - Coat-Hat-Clothes Rack- Wall Mount
Offered is a wonderful Primitive Wood Rack for wall mounting- The peice looks quite old and I would think its antique based on its style but definately Old Vintage. Its a rack for Hats. Coats or Clothing and has 4 bent wood arms with elongated knobs at ends that look like a barrel shape and the tops are pointed, theres 2 back rails and each end has 2 wood support dowels. It has a wonderful shape and style of old primitive wood working. The wood shows normal signs of age to its finish, some knicks, scuffs, and scratches but nothing major. The upper back rail has two holes where screws go through to mount it and I see theres a metal groumet in one and the other is missing and the last photo shows one arm that has a hairline crack or split but the arm seems nice and sturdy.
