English Hall Stand Victorian Traditional Mahogany cast umbrella trays. Awesome! Description This is a spectacular Victorian English Hall Stand made in the traditional solid mahogany fashion. The piece is incredibly ornate with all the details of classic victorian furniture. The piece is in very good clean condition and includes the cast iron scalloped umbrella drip trays. There is a small piece of veneer missing on the very top of the capital mold and a few cracks in the veneer. The capitol piece at the very top needs some restoration as the ends of the flowing skirt on the front and left side are broken off. This is one of the nicest pieces I have seen. ANTIQUE CHINESE JAPANESE GEISHA WARRIOR HALL TREE COAT RACK STAND GESSO OVERLAY
We are pleased to offer this antique to older vintage. Art Deco era, hall tree or coat/hat stand. This beautiful stand features turned wood body and base. Wrought iron acanthus/lotus vines provide the upper hanging section. There are 4 upturned, wrought iron arms, each with two areas/hooks for use. There is also a center wrought iron finial which could hold a hat or scarf. The wood is painted black(not lacquered) with a textured, slightly rough feel. The body is accented with a thick, paint/gesso overlay. This is used to form two figures on the stand as well as the design on the base. The upper body of the stand features a beautiful and detailed Geisha. Her garments and features are intricately detailed and wrap around the wooden column in a panoramic fashion. There is a lovely and subtle painted pattern on her robe. On the other side of ... morethe upper column is a large lotus flower. The lower column features a warrior or man of importance. He is also nicely and finely detailed and is standing on somewhat textured ground. On the opposite side of the man is a large, painted gold scroll design. The circular base is adorned with gesso painted characters/symbols as well as water/earth designs. Rounded flat head screws hold the wrought iron section to the body. The body is dowelled on the bottom and fits tightly into the base. Four small nails have been hammered upward to give extra hold to the base and column fitting. This is a unique and gorgeous hall tree. It is in very good antique condition. The black painted finish has only a few slight scuffs and nothing distracting. There is some cracking in the old gesso which is very common for this medium. There is a small section of the Geisha's face that is missing as well a small section on the base. These are not very noticeable and are not glaring. They do nothing to subtract from this subtly ornate old piece. It is quite lovely. The stand measures 61" tall. It is 14" in diameter at the top. Antique English Barley Twist Umbrella Hall Stand Solid Oak Quality Old Vintage Offered here is a very beautiful and hard to find vintage English barley twist umbrella stand made from solid oak. It is in excellent condition for it's age with little wear to the finish and no breaks or repairs. It does have some light scuffs and scratches but nothing you would not expect for a piece this age. It still has it's original drip pan made from metal. The piece measures 27 inches tall. 15 inches wide and 9 inches deep. This coat tree is very old and in very nice. Vintage condition with its original finish. As you can see in the pics it disassembles into 2 pieces very easily and the legs unscrew. Antique Tiger Oak Hall Tree w Bench Storage Umbrella Stand Mirror Copper Hooks
For sale an Antique Tiger Oak Hall Tree w/ Bench Storage. Round Beveled Mirror, 4 double Copper Hooks, and umbrella Stand. Dates to the early 1900's, I would say about the 1920's. Made of beautiful sturdy tiger oak. Measures 75 inches tall, 26 inches across the widest part of the mirror. The mirror itself is 19 1/2 inches in diameter. The bench is 18 inches tall and 25 1/2 inches across. The bench raises up to reveal a storage area. Mirror is beveled, has a few dark spots behind it(shown in photos) Of course, no antique is perfect, that's what gives it character! But this piece is in excellent condition overall. Has a small old split in the wood across the back(shown in photos) This could be easily repaired if wanted. Has carvings on the top corners and across the back. There are 4 double copper hooks around the mirror. The top ... moreright one is a little loose but could probably be tightened easily. $1800 or best offer.
