This stand/table is in the Art Deco design and is probably from about 1925-1950. It is cast iron painted in a good condition silver color paint. It is in the original found condition with no noted repairs. Breaks or missing parts. The paint and stand is in very good condition with wear appropriate and consistent with the age and use. For sale is this fantastic antique art deco style 3 drawer stand. However I believe it is some sort of hall tree. Has a lip on the top in the back and I see some screw holes n the back. Looks like a high end piece that could have possibly been made in France or some other European nation but dont know for sure. Stand measures 57" long by 26" tall by 17" wide. Not sure who the maker is but it does have some sort of tag on the back. I think the wood is crotch mahogany with a burl or possibly tiger maple. Maybe both. Not 100% on that. Art Deco Wrought Iron Hall Tree A French wrought iron hall tree. 78" x 28" x 8 1/2" deep, the two straight and single sinuous line verticals on either side extending to nearly the full height and framing openwork elements including(from the bottom up) a rectangle with coils within it within a square set out from the main body, a hemisphere with undulating coils surmounted by a naturalistically-rendered rose, a vase sprouting a second naturalistically-rendered rose with tendrils, and a mirror surround outlined in Glasgow roses, a sunburst surmounting all, a shelf immediately below the sunburst and four hat hooks just below this, the three triangular feet terminating in flattened points that allow the tree to stand freely. This auction is for a unique oak Art Deco Style Hall. Umbrella. Walking Stick Stand from England. It's a neat& unique stand in good condition. It has drip pans on both sides, a glove drawer under the top, a backsplash on the top and storage under the drawer. It has the neat wooden molding that gives it an Art Deco flair along with the drawer& door pulls. This one is in overall good condition. It is made out of Oak and Oak veneers. This hall- umbrella stand is not new or a reproductions, it been around quite a while and have just got"off the boat" from England less than 2 weeks ago. It is 28 7/8" wide. 13" deep and about 32" tall to the top of the backsplash. The drawer is 13 7/8" wide X 11" and 2 1/8" deep. The door on the cabinet is 13 7/8" wide and 20 7/8" tall. Here is a vintage 1930's Hat/Coat rack designed by Emil J. Paidar. The metal tag located midway down the heavy center pole reads"Chrometube by Paidar. New York, Chicago" The chrome on this piece shows obvious rust that will probably not not polish away and will need to be restored but there are practically no dings or dents and no missing pieces. The only damage of that sort I can find is on the edge of the umbrella stand top portion located at the weighted base. It has a few small dents in the edges. Vintage Solid Brass and Alabaster Umbrella Stand that features snakes curled around. I think I counted 4. I thought was a really cool stand. The alabaster has is two colors and toward the bottom I was told this is a fissure? I am not familiar with this stone so I am only describing what I was told. On the top part there is one crack in the brass as pictured in pictures number 9. It stands approx. 26" tall and each piece is approx. 14 1/2" across by 10 1/2" wide. I am not sure of the exact age but going on other items. I'd say its pretty old. Rare Antique Hat Rack Millinery Coat Vintage Heavy Aluminum Art Deco Mid century
Gorgeous and in excellent condition for its age. Has a heavy solid aluminum base(easy to polish) and the upper part is probably painted steel. I purchased this from former antique dealers on Lake Michigan who told me it came from an old. Old department store and is from the 1940's. I was going to hack saw the threaded post off at the top and put a finial on it(I will include the finial with the sale if you want it) Or maybe a rod to cover it and a finial will work too. I just used it as-is and it never bothered me, but for aesthetics maybe someone wants to not have the threaded post sticking out. Could use another coat of silver paint, as there is some oxidation here and there. It stands 6'6" to the uppermost hat holder. It is about 24" wide. It is strong enough to hold heavier items. Unique Oak Hall Tree Art Deco Nouveau -
For sale is a stunning. Antique, oak hall coat and umbrella tree/stand with an oval beveled mirror. It has some very unique features, and would make a great statement piece for the entrance of any home. The oak is beautiful, and the early art deco design(or possibly transitional art nouveau) is hand carved. Additionally, there are 4 coat hooks which have the face of a bearded man(the top 2 were taken off but are still with the item- see photos) It has one drawer with a white marble shelf on top. The top has 2 metal bars with 4 small decorative hooks. At the bottom on both sides it is lined with metal for the umbrellas. I was told by the previous owner that the piece was brought over from Germany. The auction is for an ornate antique Art Deco stand/smoking stand/table with a round marble top and a fleur de lis shaped finial. The cast iron is painted gold. The base is star shaped. About 11" in diameter and has surface rust. It is stamped on the bottom"Rembrandt R-7093 Patent App For. The stand is about 23 1/2" high measured to the top of the marble. It is about 32" high measured to he top of the finial. The finial is about 7 1/2" high. There is some wear to the paint on the finial. The round marble top is about 10" in diameter. The marble is 1" thick and in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Including the cast iron trim, the top is about 12" in diameter and stamped"Rembrandt Patent App For R-7602. This a very heavy, sturdy, decorative stand. It will ship in a double walled carton ... morewith plenty of packing material, and will be insured for its full value.
