Up for auction is this fantastic umbrella stand. It is made of a pottery with a majolica green glaze on top. The only marking is the number 61 on the bottom. I am not sure it was made by Weller. Roseville, McCoy or who. The piece is done in a greens and has a cathedral window design in the middle. The umbrella stand measures 23" tall and is about 10" in diameter. It is in great condition with the only damage that I can see being a small chip on the inside top of the stand(see picture) This is a gorgeous piece that should not be overlooked. These large pieces do not come to market that often and when they do they are usually pretty damaged. Antique plant stand. May be cast bronze or cast iron. And is gilded in gold. Quite heavy. And bolted together with(some) non-original hardware- screws, etc. In great shape. And probably dates between the 1890's and early 1900's. 8" by 8" marble surface on the top. And a smaller marble piece set at a 45 degree angle to the top, as the bottom shelf. 15" by 15" at its widest point on the legs. and 31" high. Great original condition, with no bends, fractures and most of the original finish looks great, though there is certainly some patina from a century of ownership. Would look beautiful with a fern or some other type of potted plant on top. Marble is original from what I can tell. But of course it would be extremely easy to replace with new pieces, if desired. It has a wonderful look and is exceptionally well cared. The pedestal measures 36 inches tall with about a 14 inch base and the top is 13 inches across and weighs 13 pounds. Umbrella opening is 7" in diameter. This has not been polished in a long time. And shows signs of oxidation from age. It can be left as is for the aged vintage look, or would be wonderful restored, with a little elbow grease. The copper is more evident under the top rim of the umbrella holder and all over when in sunlight or under certain lighting. Age has given it a more brassy look all over. Age and oxidation has also created a slight blue color around edges of the lion heads- just adding to the beauty and charm of this vintage stand. For sale is this fantastic antique art deco style 3 drawer stand. However I believe it is some sort of hall tree. Has a lip on the top in the back and I see some screw holes n the back. Looks like a high end piece that could have possibly been made in France or some other European nation but dont know for sure. Stand measures 57" long by 26" tall by 17" wide. Not sure who the maker is but it does have some sort of tag on the back. I think the wood is crotch mahogany with a burl or possibly tiger maple. Maybe both. Not 100% on that. Has a fantastic look the way the veneer on the drawers matches. Very difficult to do, and as you can see the top is splined together Does have some minor scuffs and faint scratches. This is an amazing Antique European Large Scale Hand Faux Wood Grain and Paint Decorated Hall Tree. This is a large piece. Measuring approximately 82" tall by 69" wide, the center one door, one drawer cabinet protrudes about 17" This hall tree retains much of its original paint decoration. The entire piece is faux grain painted and the bottom panels have graceful hand painted Art Nouveau Floral Designs. The piece retains most of what appears to be its original hardware which includes eight hooks on the top. Two turnstile type metal holders for canes or umbrellas, and two removable drip pans at the bottom. There is a"basket" which extends along the top of the piece which is comprised of a yarn like knotted mesh. this may have originally been comprised of a metal type mesh basket, however, it is functional for holding ... morehats, etc. There is one center mirror which looks like the original, which is flanked by two"cut out" areas, these don't appear to have held mirrors originally, but look as if they were made and finished to be"see through" panels. We believe this piece to date to the early 1900's. There is some lettering on the metal turnstile hardware which appears to be German. Condition is good with wear expected and commensurate with vintage pieces. The hall tree has a time worn. Distressed patina, the paint is worn and faded throughout, there are scratches and dings to the painted surface. The hardware is in very good condition, the turnstile hardware is functional both forward and backward. The removable drip panels show signs of use and some surface rust. The very top of the piece, along the top edge, about 2 to 3" is not painted the same as the rest of the piece. There is a crack in the opening side of the door to the protruding cupboard and some ink staining inside the drawer. Beautifully flowing hand carved scrollwork even on the inside of the wood. Leavy acanthus and fans, this is a circa 1910 multi-tier open shelf etagere with beveled glass. Beveled glass was not only used for beauty, it is the strength it gives the glass. Small bead work frames the glass. Spindles surround the half moon shelf. The legs rise in goose neck fashion to acanthus leaves. Five small pieces of scroll work came off and were kept with the piece for repair. Rare Antique Hat Rack Millinery Coat Vintage Heavy Aluminum Art Deco Mid century
Gorgeous and in excellent condition for its age. Has a heavy solid aluminum base(easy to polish) and the upper part is probably painted steel. I purchased this from former antique dealers on Lake Michigan who told me it came from an old. Old department store and is from the 1940's. I was going to hack saw the threaded post off at the top and put a finial on it(I will include the finial with the sale if you want it) Or maybe a rod to cover it and a finial will work too. I just used it as-is and it never bothered me, but for aesthetics maybe someone wants to not have the threaded post sticking out. Could use another coat of silver paint, as there is some oxidation here and there. It stands 6'6" to the uppermost hat holder. It is about 24" wide. It is strong enough to hold heavier items. I just have no experience shipping large items like this. I currently have a chair on eBay and am saying the same thing. I will guess that this hat rack probably weighs 40 lbs. but that's a guess. About 11" in diameter and has surface rust. It is stamped on the bottom"Rembrandt R-7093 Patent App For. The stand is about 23 1/2" high measured to the top of the marble. It is about 32" high measured to he top of the finial. The finial is about 7 1/2" high. There is some wear to the paint on the finial. The round marble top is about 10" in diameter.
