Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. For your consideration is this Very Nice Antique Oak Entry Hall Tree. I have been told it dates back to the late 1800s. But i am not sure, could be the early 1900s?There are no markings on it that i can see. The Hall Tree is in excellent condition, is very solid, and has a nice aged Patina look. It is about 82-3/4" tall, 24 to 26" wide(at different levels) and 15" deep. The Beveled Mirror is about 17 1/4" wide and 35" high and in very good condition for its age. There are 6 Coat, Cap Hooks, the two on top are Butterfly Hooks( unusual& rare) see picture 5, I have never seen these before or after we got this one) I don't know if they were on the Hall Tree from day one or if someone added them later, they are old and they compliment the attractive decorative carvings on top, plus they do match the cutout pattern ... moreabove the seat perfectly.see picture 3) The Bench Seat has storage space under the lid. This is a very unusual hall tree. I have never seen one quite like it. There are flat grooved columns on each side with hooks at top, they are connected to back with a shelf. Applied carving adorns the crest with hook on each side. Instead of the typical lift up lid there is a large drawer at the bottom w. brass handle pull. on the left side behind column is an umbrella holder with original drip pan. The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. up for consideration is a large carved quarter sawn oak hall tree. The piece measures 93 inches high or 7 feet 9 inches by 16 1/2 inches deep by 57 1/2 inches wide. Please read above for condition. The piece is characterized as having Hand carved scrolling work along the top and throughout with what looks like a horse shoe type motif in the center above the seat. I has hidden umbrella and cane stand with original old pan on the bottom. ANTIQUE CHINESE JAPANESE GEISHA WARRIOR HALL TREE COAT RACK STAND GESSO OVERLAY
We are pleased to offer this antique to older vintage. Art Deco era, hall tree or coat/hat stand. This beautiful stand features turned wood body and base. Wrought iron acanthus/lotus vines provide the upper hanging section. There are 4 upturned, wrought iron arms, each with two areas/hooks for use. There is also a center wrought iron finial which could hold a hat or scarf. The wood is painted black(not lacquered) with a textured, slightly rough feel. The body is accented with a thick, paint/gesso overlay. This is used to form two figures on the stand as well as the design on the base. The upper body of the stand features a beautiful and detailed Geisha. Her garments and features are intricately detailed and wrap around the wooden column in a panoramic fashion. There is a lovely and subtle painted pattern on her robe. On the other side of ... morethe upper column is a large lotus flower. The lower column features a warrior or man of importance. He is also nicely and finely detailed and is standing on somewhat textured ground. On the opposite side of the man is a large, painted gold scroll design. The circular base is adorned with gesso painted characters/symbols as well as water/earth designs. Rounded flat head screws hold the wrought iron section to the body. The body is dowelled on the bottom and fits tightly into the base. Four small nails have been hammered upward to give extra hold to the base and column fitting. This is a unique and gorgeous hall tree. It is in very good antique condition. The black painted finish has only a few slight scuffs and nothing distracting. There is some cracking in the old gesso which is very common for this medium. There is a small section of the Geisha's face that is missing as well a small section on the base. These are not very noticeable and are not glaring. They do nothing to subtract from this subtly ornate old piece. It is quite lovely. The stand measures 61" tall. It is 14" in diameter at the top. RARE ANTIQUE PERT PAT WOOD ALPHABET & # BLOCK CHILD COAT TREE STAND RACK - CUTE!
VINTAGE PERT PAT CHILD'S COAT TREE This unique and very rare child's coat rack was manufactured by the Pert Pat Company in the 1950's. I cannot find another example anywhere. It is made up of 17 rotating blocks with letters and numbers on it and has four posts at the top to hang coats hats and bags. It stands 37.5" tall. It has it's share of dents and dings but should clean up very nicely. Pert Pat Products was located in New Hampshire and made children and doll's furniture from the white pine found locally. The company was in business from 1953 to 1958.

Antique Victorian Hall Tree w/ Mirror Walnut Spindle Style c 1900 Eastlake
Wonderful Victorian hall tree with elements of Eastlake style. This piece is made from beautiful dark walnut and has a central mirror with bevelled edges. The arched top and middle panel have quintessential spindle shapes above a scrolled. Tray-like shelf. A circular brass piece on the lowest shelf was likely intended for holding umbrellas. Four decorative brass hooks are fastened along the sides for hanging coats and have long threaded backs that allow them to be used to affix the hall tree to a wall for stability. A beautiful piece that will add a touch of welcome to any entrance way. Overall. This piece is in good condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use. There is 1 drawer measuring 19 5/9" wide x 14 5/8" deep x 5" tall and is dove tailed in the back. The lower cabinet has 2 doors and measures 19 3/4" wide x 14 1/8" deep x 20 1/4" tall. The overall measurements are 46" wide x 17" deep x 93" tall. There are brass hoods to hold caps or hats. And brass knobs on the cabinet doors. This is an Antique Hall Tree Umbrella Stand with beveled Mirror and Brass Fixtures. It is a gorgeous piece and in great vintage condition just in need of a good cleaning and polishing of the wood to bring back its luster. It has(4) Brass fixtures for the hats or coats and also railings for the umbrellas. One of the hat fixture is missing one of screws. It has a beautiful beveled mirror outlined by a detailed frame.The mirror itself has no cracks but it reflection is not as cleared as it should be.Please see all pictures. more pictures below description* EXPANDING COAT RACK/ HALL TREE This was bought at an estate auction of the owner of a funeral home. The owner also collected Odd Fellow Lodge items. It appears to be very old but I'm not sure when it was made and there are no makers marks or labels. I have only found one hall tree anywhere like this on the internet. It was made by Clipper Shaft Co but it is different than this one, especially the inside parts. This has dark stained wood. But not sure exactly what wood. Cast Brass hooks and metal workings inside. Wear and patina on the wood surfaces including some white spots on the base feet. It's not in bad shape but would be more beautiful refurbished. It is missing a finial on the top. Fully functional, sturdy, beautiful period piece. Pole width: 3" Depth: 2 5/8" height: 71.5" Extends ... moreto a 36" across hanging bar for coats. Stands alone looking like a traditional coat tree. You have two hooks that you undo and press down on the piece of flat metal holding the bases together. Then just start pulling apart while raising the top bar, the bottom extends and locks into place. You slide the top bar up past the"clip" that springs back and then keeps the bar from falling. Leans a little, so maybe the spring metal piece had more to it than what's there now-but it works. Now you have a coat rack for all your guests! When everyone goes home, put back together and in the corner again. FANTASTIC idea! This coat tree is very old and in very nice. Vintage condition with its original finish. As you can see in the pics it disassembles into 2 pieces very easily and the legs unscrew. There is no damage anywhere. I would guess it's oak but I'm not sure. It would be gorgeous refinished although it looks very nice as it is. You can see it's wonderful condition in the pics.
