These were made with a great attention to detail. Solid top quality woods, and superb crasfmanship you just don't find today. This piece measures 39 inches wide, 11 inches tall, and the shelf is 8 inches deep. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. It does have minor scratches and small blemishes due to age. This is a beautiful french antique. Solid oak, wall coat rack and umbrella stand with matching lion head ornaments. Also included is a tapestry. Rug. The coat rack and umbrella stand are of solid oak wood and have been cleaned and polished and are ready to use. The original use of this“coat rack” was to use in the kitchen and hang pots and pans from. Usually lovely copper ones, and on the top a beautiful serving plate for example would be displayed. Which would sit safely thanks to the dubble hollowed out groove's on top of the shelf. The coat rack is in great condition. No damage at all. It has 6 brass. Lion heads with dubble hooks giving you plenty of space to hang your coats. It's a nice warm mid color oak. There is included a tapestry.
