The shaped beveled mirror is original, hence there are a few spots and streaks, but doesn't detract from the looks. Total width, including umbrella holder, is 39" depth is 18" height is 80-1/2" We have not refinished this hall tree, the finish appears to be original and is quite good, the piece is structurally strong as well. This gorgeous Walnut Victorian Renaissance Revival Period Marble Top Hall Tree is adorned with a magnificent incised and dimensionally carved spade and scroll center crown with carved center shield along with elegant drapes and a fancy pediment that consists of crown moulding. Along with raised burl panel accents. The shoulder area beneath the crown is graced with fully turned drop finials. The mirror is framed in beautiful moulding. Eight lovely period turned wooden hat and coat posts are found on this beautiful Hall Tree. These lovely posts are separated by elegant vertical-linear raised burl panels which further accent the beautiful mirrored body of this exquisite hall-tree. The area above the removable original white marble table top with scalloped and beveled edges is adorned with small raised burl panels along with horizontal picture frame moulding. The marble is in very good condition with just some very minor chips on the underside corners of the marble which simply add character to its beauty and elegance. The small 1/2 moon mirror near the top is in great condition and the large beveled mirror is great with very slight haziness(it measures 39" H by 17-1/2" W) The marble shelf has some small flea bite chips along the edge and one larger chip on the back edge next to the wood(it is 8" by 14" There are no coat hooks and it does not appear to have ever had any. Antique Victorian Hall Tree w/ Mirror Walnut Spindle Style c 1900 Eastlake
Wonderful Victorian hall tree with elements of Eastlake style. This piece is made from beautiful dark walnut and has a central mirror with bevelled edges. The arched top and middle panel have quintessential spindle shapes above a scrolled. Tray-like shelf. A circular brass piece on the lowest shelf was likely intended for holding umbrellas. Four decorative brass hooks are fastened along the sides for hanging coats and have long threaded backs that allow them to be used to affix the hall tree to a wall for stability. A beautiful piece that will add a touch of welcome to any entrance way. Overall. This piece is in good condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use. Shell design heavy copper colored cast iron insert. Has some forward leaning from coats hanging over the generations. Beautiful Antique Walnut Hall Beveled Mirror With Marble Seat
For sale is a beautiful walnut hall mirror with beveled glass and marble seat. Overall. The hall mirror is in okay condition. The parts of the seat base and top require gluing, but are not broken or missing. We don't know the age of the mirror, but certainly early 1900's. The walnut wood is in perfect condition. As is the marble seat. The mirror would require to be re-silvered if purchaser wished, but this adds to the character and demonstrates the age of the beautiful beveled glass! The dimensions of the piece is: approximately 91" tall. 27" at the widest points, and 11.5" deep. The marble seat is 18" above the floor. Due to the delicateness of this piece and the glass.
