Offered for sale is this vintage Black Forest bear& cubs hall tree. It measure 80" x 19"W x 16-1/2" The hall tree is in excellent condition except with a few minor aged cracks. The hall tree has been professional restored to fix the old branch joints. After half century the wood joints do not fit perfectly. Now all these joints have been repaired. I can take them down for shipping safely and assemble them firmly. The joints now are as good as new. The piece has no paint loss. It is a very beautiful piece. The hall tree is very heavy. I will ship them in 2 cartons. No marks and the age unknown. But I will guess 50 years or more. It has 2 cubs playing at tree top.

Carved Wooden Pedestal This is a vintage wooden pedestal or stand. This piece has a striking apperance. And would demand attention in any room it adorned. It is a large, decorative stand, possibly for a plant or vase. The stand appears to be made of mahogany, but I am unable to say for certain. It features an ornate, hand-carved series of designs. Three feet support the base and center post. A crown rests in the center of the base. Vertical lines run up the main post, stopping at a wonderful carved rope design, just below the main platform. The platform features a leaf design and has a decorative beaded edge. The underside of the platform features a floral pattern. There is a sticker on the bottom of the stand that reads"made in Indonesia" The stand has the following measurements: Height: 57 1/4" Width at Widest Point(tripod ... morebase) 19 1/2" Depth: 19 1/2" Diameter of the platform base: 10 3/4" Diameter of the platform top: 8 1/4" This is in great condition overall with only light signs of age or use. There is on spot on one of the supporting feet that appears to have been repaired at some point during production. There is a similar spot on the base of the stand. I noticed a crack on the decorative crown in the center of the tripod base. Which in no way affects the integrity of the wood. There is one large chip in the wood on one of the feet, which is not visible when the stand is upright. The table top is only about 11 inches in diameter. Condition- Used and in nice condition. Some use wear. Some scratches and or dings. Some scratches to the marble top. The carvings are hand carved so expected imperfections/ inconsistencies present I noticed more so at the feet. Some joints have age appropriate separations in spots and the stand is still very sturdy. Beautifully flowing hand carved scrollwork even on the inside of the wood. Leavy acanthus and fans, this is a circa 1910 multi-tier open shelf etagere with beveled glass. Beveled glass was not only used for beauty, it is the strength it gives the glass. Small bead work frames the glass. Spindles surround the half moon shelf. The legs rise in goose neck fashion to acanthus leaves. Five small pieces of scroll work came off and were kept with the piece for repair. Offered for sale is this antique hand carved wood wall mounted sconce shelf. It has a small missing part as seen in pictures#3& 4(it can easily be restored) and some cracks as seen in the pictures#6. The sconce had been repainted long time ago. There is no other defects I found. The carving job is pretty good and the design is unique. I guess this was a wedding gift for the carving shows 2 hearts on 2 sides S and W letters next to the hearts and 1819 and a priest's back in the middle. Please see pictures# 2& 5. I have no idea what kind of style of this carving. The sconce is well built using dovetail wood joints. It measures 11"H x 7-5/8"W x 5-7/8"Deep. It is a very nice old piece with almost 200 years old.

Description: Here is an AMAZING antique that came out of a multi-million dollar stately home in Hartford CT that was filled with millions in antiques. Bidding was furious on the contents of this estate and this gem was the only piece I was able to win but it really is a winner. We see quite a few of these mahogany candle stands but this one has some details which places it head and shoulders above the rest. The top has great hand carved details. There is a well carved rim decoration in the form of a stylized laurel wreath and that is not the only carving. There is a well carved"urn” on the base of the nicely turned column. An extra detail you will see is that the top is not just held onto the base with a metal screw but that the top of the column is turned so that the wood itself is threaded and screws itself into the top receiver. The ... morelegs and feet on many of these tables were made from built up piece of wood but this one has each leg carved out of a solid piece of mahogany as you can see in my pictures. You are bidding on a very nice HAND CARVED REAL WOOD LOG HALLTREE. UNIQUE ONE OF A KIND. Came out of a local estate with most items 1850s-1940s. Base is 28 1/2" measuring diagonally or 22" wide one way and 20" wide on another way. Pegs varies between 4 3/4" and 5" in length. Diameter of post is 10 1/2 inch or a little over 3 inches wide. Very old looking. EXCELLENT for the age. Wood looks dry but does not show any cracking. Items to be picked up in Sparta. Wisconsin. I will not ship. I have no way to wrap/crate and most shipping is 30 miles away. There is local business in town that moves items but his price I believe is in the $2.50 to $3 a mile area. Antique Victorian Ornate Hand Carved Mahogany Pedestal Plant Stand
This is a vintage wooden pedestal stand. This piece has a stunning apperance with it's rich deep cherry color and intricate carvings. It is a large. Decorative stand, possibly for a plant or vase and is made of mahogany. It is hand-carved with three feet that support the base and center post. A crown design is featured in the center of the base. The top platform features a leaf design and has a decorative beaded edge. The underside of the platform features a floral pattern. There is a sticker on the bottom of the stand that reads"made in Indonesia" with a handmaking furniture code for this specific piece. This stand has been in my family for about 10 years and my mom purchased it at an antique store in Nevada. The owner of the store told us the background story. She had purchased an entire victorian estate of furniture and the ... morelady who owned the stand had inherited it from her mother and it had been in their family for almost 100 years. The stand has the following measurements: Height: 57 1/4" Width at Widest Point(tripod base) 19 1/2" Depth: 19 1/2" Diameter of the platform base: 10 3/4" Diameter of the platform top: 8 1/4" This is in great condition overall with only light signs of age or use. There is a very minor surface scratch on the very top of the pedestal(pictured) and a hairline crack in a small area of the pole portion.
