The Empire style. Was an early-19th-century design movement in architecture, furniture. It has been in the Family for three generations. The piece is in great condition and the finish looks original. I believe Oak was used to produce the piece and it has a clear finished. The mirror is beveled on all edges. I saw no evidence of silvering losses on the mirror. ANTIQUE CHINESE JAPANESE GEISHA WARRIOR HALL TREE COAT RACK STAND GESSO OVERLAY
We are pleased to offer this antique to older vintage. Art Deco era, hall tree or coat/hat stand. This beautiful stand features turned wood body and base. Wrought iron acanthus/lotus vines provide the upper hanging section. There are 4 upturned, wrought iron arms, each with two areas/hooks for use. There is also a center wrought iron finial which could hold a hat or scarf. The wood is painted black(not lacquered) with a textured, slightly rough feel. The body is accented with a thick, paint/gesso overlay. This is used to form two figures on the stand as well as the design on the base. The upper body of the stand features a beautiful and detailed Geisha. Her garments and features are intricately detailed and wrap around the wooden column in a panoramic fashion. There is a lovely and subtle painted pattern on her robe. On the other side of ... morethe upper column is a large lotus flower. The lower column features a warrior or man of importance. He is also nicely and finely detailed and is standing on somewhat textured ground. On the opposite side of the man is a large, painted gold scroll design. The circular base is adorned with gesso painted characters/symbols as well as water/earth designs. Rounded flat head screws hold the wrought iron section to the body. The body is dowelled on the bottom and fits tightly into the base. Four small nails have been hammered upward to give extra hold to the base and column fitting. This is a unique and gorgeous hall tree. It is in very good antique condition. The black painted finish has only a few slight scuffs and nothing distracting. There is some cracking in the old gesso which is very common for this medium. There is a small section of the Geisha's face that is missing as well a small section on the base. These are not very noticeable and are not glaring. They do nothing to subtract from this subtly ornate old piece. It is quite lovely. The stand measures 61" tall. It is 14" in diameter at the top. Early Vtg. Antique-Primitive Bent Wood - Coat-Hat-Clothes Rack- Wall Mount
Offered is a wonderful Primitive Wood Rack for wall mounting- The peice looks quite old and I would think its antique based on its style but definately Old Vintage. Its a rack for Hats. Coats or Clothing and has 4 bent wood arms with elongated knobs at ends that look like a barrel shape and the tops are pointed, theres 2 back rails and each end has 2 wood support dowels. It has a wonderful shape and style of old primitive wood working. The wood shows normal signs of age to its finish, some knicks, scuffs, and scratches but nothing major. The upper back rail has two holes where screws go through to mount it and I see theres a metal groumet in one and the other is missing and the last photo shows one arm that has a hairline crack or split but the arm seems nice and sturdy. It measures 19 1/8" long, the arms are 6 1/2" tall from point ... moreto knobs and they would stick out off the wall approx. 4" when mounted. Antique Oak Wall Criss Cross Mission-Style Hat & Coat Rack
This is an antique coat. Glove and hat rack. I believe it is from the early 1900s. It is approximately 32" wide, 20" high and 9" deep. I think that the wood is oak. It is in good condition for its age. The metal brackets are intact and have just a little surface rust. The mirror is foggy due to age and the material that it is made of. ANTIQUE/VINTAGE WOOD HAT/COAT RACK WITH PORCELAIN ENDS 10 PEGS WITH METAL BACKS
This is an antique or vintage coat or hat rack. It is made of wood and has 4 ridges on the front wood slats. It has 10 wooden turned pegs that have a porcelain tip on the end of each peg. And on the back of each peg there is a round metal circle with a flower design. One metal circle is missing.so when you open it it will come off the peg. If you are handy you can make a small metal end or even use a metal bottle top to fix it. One other metal has been replaced by a piece of metal that someone made. It does feel weak to me, but I didn't mess with it just in case you wanted to do it yourself. The varnish is rough and mostly gone. The porcelain ends all seem secure, but need a good cleaning. I see where one wooden slat has a slight split in it and another one has a few small holes in it. There are 4 holes for hanging. Someone put an eye ... morehook in the back.probably for hanging.because there is a small hole where an eyehook probably was and is now missing. It measures 18 inches long and 4 inches wide when it is closed up, and 46 inches long and 7 inches wide when it is stretched open. VINTAGE PERT PAT CHILD'S COAT TREE This unique and very rare child's coat rack was manufactured by the Pert Pat Company in the 1950's. I cannot find another example anywhere. It is made up of 17 rotating blocks with letters and numbers on it and has four posts at the top to hang coats hats and bags. It stands 37.5" tall. It has it's share of dents and dings but should clean up very nicely. Pert Pat Products was located in New Hampshire and made children and doll's furniture from the white pine found locally. The company was in business from 1953 to 1958.

This is a BEAUTIFUL. Antique, French Art Deco(1920s) full size bed FOOTBOARD which has been reclaimed and repurposed. This lovely repurposed coat or towel rack is Mahogany wood which has been painted and heavily distressed for a chippy, shabby, French Country look. The color is a lovely French blue which has been layered with an over glaze of white to give the footboard a very soft blue finish. The beveled edge trim and the large center medallion have been painted white and also heavily distressed. The legs are still attached for added interest.
