Arts and crafts mission quarter sawn oak umbrella stand. Condition for its age is fair to good. It appears the bottom wood is newer. And has been braced for extra support. There is a bit of paint residue to the underside which is curious, as the piece appears to have its original finish. There are some wood separations along the joints. The joints have original slats. But also some extra screws here and there.The bottoms have some footings, and some wear down to the wood as shown. Still a great piece for decor, but we want to mention the supports. It is depicted Straight out of the Arts& Crafts Mission era, it is pegged quatersawn oak. It measures approx. 21" x 12" x 29" tall. Note 33" tall to the top of the four peaks. It is missing its copper pan, but other than that in fantastic condition. Arts crafts - mission period umbrella cane stand with copper pan
Mission Style Umbrella Stand with copper bottom insert. Stand measures 11" square and is 28" tall. The stand is in it's original finish resembling dark oak. The stand is fairly solid and makes a nice presentation. Based on age. Finish and grain it looks like oak but it seems a bit light for that so I can't say for certain the type of wood. Wear is consistent with age. I have included pictures of notable defects. Stand is solid and makes a nice presentation. Unfortunately there are no marks on the stand to identify the maker. I bought this at an estate sale 10 or so years ago and have used it in the Foyer ever since. Now redecorating thus offering it for sale.

Vintage 1930's Wood Hall Tree Coat Stand in Excellent condition. Rock Solid with NO damage. Just a few light scuffs from being in the SAME SPOT for over 3/4 of a CENTURY! Made of SOLID OLD GROWTH White Pine, is has beautiful patterns in the grain; one side shows like it is Maple. The finish is ORIGINAL and untouched! There is some wear to the brass plating on the hooks but they can easily be replated or left to show its age. I looked all over but there are no marks to identify it(as is the case with most of these) but it certainly is a perfect fit for your Stickley, Mission, Arts& Crafts, or Craftsman Style Home! We have been collecting good quality Craftsman Style Furniture for over 25 years and got this from the original owner who has had it since the 1930's. NICE Antique Arts& Crafts Era Early 1900s Brass Umbrella Stand I want to wish a happy holidays to all my wonderful customers. I am listing light this week. But will have lookouts of new items next week. I went to a local small flea market and focused on finding lots of unique items for you- it was a success! Here is a fabulous early 1900's oh-so-arts-and-crafts brass umbrella stand for you. Don't you love the simplicity of the design? It's a relief lined pattern that makes simple boxes. And the stand measures 18 3/8" tall, 8 5/8" diameter across the top, 8 1/4" diameter across the bottom, with an inside opening of 6 1/4" It weighs just under 2 1/2 lbs. The stand is solid brass except the bottom, which is tin. I'm showing the inside of the base in photos 8& 9 where you can see surface rust- it's ... moresurface only, with no holes or eat throughs- no light shining through at all when held up to the light. You can see the rust(a little thicker, but still on the surface only) on the perimeter of the outside bottom only- as I'm showing in photos 10& 11. On the underside, you can see the solder that connects the bottom to the sides, the light surface rust on the perimeter, and even some glorious green oxidation from the brass. The stand is in excellent solid, sturdy and usable condition. Totally structurally sound and displaying beautifully. I had to look really really hard to find a couple of very very light and small impressions- not even large enough to call dings- that's it. The patina is dark and yummy from age. It's dusty/dirty and could use a good bath. I have not cleaned it, or done anything to mess with the as found patina in any way. Love it and use it! Please ask if you have any questions. The piece stands 38 1/4" tall and has a triangular configuration with 12" between each of the legs. The top pan will hold a pot up to 5" in diameter and it has 5 1/2" top loops which hold the pot in place. The strips which make up the stand are about 11/16" wide. The vertical pieces are hammered brass with copper rivets and center triangle and base horizontal straps are copper. The top pan is brass. The piece has no maker's mark or company name. Great estate sale find! HT Cushman MFG. Co. Bennington. Vermont. Still has original paper label on reverse of middle shelf. Mission- Arts and Crafts style folding plant stand. Beautiful oak. Circa early 1900s. Specs: 41" tall from floor to top. 18 1/2" across, sticks out 11 1/2" from wall. Features 3 shelves- each one is 17" x 10 3/4" this wonderful piece actually folds up to 3 1/2" standing against wall, weighs in at approx. 13 lbs. Flat head screws hold each shelf to legs. Nails hold support rails in place. Noted issues: faint color ring on top shelf along with slight grain separation. Please note- I have not cleaned. Refinished, fooled with this piece in any way other than to take photos of it folded and unfolded. You the buyer can decide if you want to refinish. This is a wonderful little true vintage Mission. Arts and Crafts plant stand or small table. It has original screws and sound construction. Please see my photos as I use them for part of my description. It looks like it was handmade and the maker's name is written on the bottom. Very quaint. It does have some issues.we can't hang around this long without some issues. Looks like doggy bites on one leg and the top is water stained and has a crack down the center. Vintage Delft Tile Oak Hat Coat Hanger Rack Arts & Crafts Mission Style
Up for sale is a wonderful vintage Arts& Crafts/ Mission Style Delft tile with oak framed coat hat hanger& original patinated hooks recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia PA area. These tiles are a bit bubbly like very old tiles. But the oak around them seems Arts&Crafts/Mission style era. Even though the two end hooks have lost their"uppers" we still thought this very nice and bought it at auction being that the Delft and oak were still in tact and quite strong, and the two missing hook ends do not seem to detract. This may or may not have originated in the netherlands with Delft being highly collectable in the 1st half of the 20th C. Very nicely made, quite sturdy with vintage antique hangers on the back, truthfully like we've never seen in 30 years of framing and antique buying/selling. A lovely, ... moreheavy, sturdy piece measuring overall 34" x 8" with 3 double hooks, 2 single hooks by loss, and 2 wonderful repeating tiles measuring 5.5" sq. Perfect for anything Dutch, Netherlands or Europe related or for anyone collecting this vintage and color scheme.
